Prospers A/C first came to my property through American Home Shield because I had 2 mini split units that were having problems. He told me that he could only submit one for replacement to American Home Shield. The other I would have to pay out of pocket. Prospers A/C installed a mini split through American Home Shield that has never worked properly due to his faulty installation. I also gave ********************************* a deposit of $5,141.36 for the mini split that he wouldn't claim through American Home Shield, and when I realized that he had been the cause of the other unit not working, I asked for my deposit back, which he refused to return. Ultimately, Prospers A/C did faulty work, caused damage to my property, misdiagnosed the mini split he installed for a year, conned me out of $5,141.36 for equipment he never ordered or delivered, and became hostile with me when I called him out for his mistakes and asked for my deposit back. I guarantee that if I was a man, he never would have treated me this way or taken advantage of me. Aside from being without A/C for 2 extremely hot ******* due to Prospers A/C's faulty work, he conned me out of $5,141.36 for a deposit on a mini split and $985.05 for a copper modification that caused a freon leak due to improper installation. He also cost me $1750 in unnecessary electrical work that he insisted had to be done, then claimed the electrician should have known how to diagnose the mini split better than an alleged HVAC professional. And $843 for a reputable HVAC company to rewire the faulty installation. I am still waiting to find out the cost to fix the copper modification, as well as the repairs to the exterior of my home and interior wall damage from Prospers A/C faulty installation. I am attaching a full timeline of events with a more detailed explanation. I am also attaching copies of the checks paid to Prospers A/C, and an invoice for the faulty job that wasn't completed, even though I paid for work that didn't fix the problem.Customer response
