I have been a member of Anytime fitness for a couple of years. About six months ago, I decided to quit. Since then I have made over ***************************************************************************** as I am no longer under contract. Every time I speak with someone at this location, I am told as soon as we hang up, I will receive a link to cancel my membership, and I am not required to give notice because I am no longer under contract. However, after the phone call, no link comes through . Leaving to another and another and another phone call requesting said link. I have accumulated approximately $150 in charges since attempting to quit this gym and every time I call I am reassured that I will be sent this mysterious link that never comes through, and I continue to be charged month after month after month. This is a terrible business practice and canceling your open contract should be quick and simple .Customer response
