I scheduled an appointment to have my hair braided for 1/19/2024 on their website. Their website requires full payment upfront in order to schedule your appointment. I paid $190 to their website which booked me for 1/19/2024 at 10:00am CST. On 1/19/2024 at 8:40am CST I received a text directly from the owner/operator stating, "Good morning this is Allura, you have a appointment with me this morning at 10am and I was trying to see if there was a way we could reschedule because I had something urgent come up." I informed her how busy my schedule was but I tried to work with her. Despite me responding immediately, Allura didn't text me back until that night at 8:13pm. I gave her all the days and times I had available to reschedule but she never responded. Meanwhile she was streaming live from Instagram posting her working during my scheduled appointment time. I waited and finally at 11:30pm on 1/20/2024 I sent her a text message informing her that I would need a refund since there was no correspondence with her. She stated she would send the refund back and it would take 1-2 business days. Today is Friday 1/26/2024 and still no refund. I called my financial institution and reported this transaction but this process could take up to 90 days to refund my $190. This is highly unacceptable and Alluring By Marcia runs a horrible establishment due to hijacking her customers personal funds.
