We hired Johnny ******* plumbing on 8/22/22 to install gas lines for our house. We paid for two sets of supplies, one on 8/22/22 for $632.42, and on 8/27/22 f or ******. After ************* said he had completed the job, which we paid him for, there were extra rolls of gas line and spare parts. I told ************* that if he gave me the receipts and the extra parts I would be happy to return them to ********** for a refund. ************* assured me that he was going to return them, and have them put back on my card. I tried to explain to him that it was a debit card I had used, and they may not be able to put the transaction back on my card. If that was the case, I requested that he return the extra parts and the receipts to me and allow me to recoup some of my funds. I sent ************* Texts at his phone number almost daily for the last 2 weeks requesting that he return the parts as promised. He did not respond. I finally went back to the Yelp page, where we had made the original contact and told him that because he was not responding, I was going to be elevating my efforts. He responded that he had returned the parts on the 2nd of September, and if ********** did not give me a refund, I would have to take it up with them.I went to ********** today and discussed this with them. They said if ************** did indeed return the parts, he would have been refunded in cash because the transactions were on debit cards. At this point in time, I am not certain exactly what parts were returned, as he was very vague about giving me the receipts though I asked him repeatedly.
