I have been going to Arbour counseling since I was 18. I am 37 years old now I have been Medication And never gave any problems with my appointments or making them I was rudely called by an Arbour counseling representative from the *************** which I have been going to for 20 years. Talk to me like a child and tell me I couldnt get my medication anymore through them. the reason why she said that is because my therapist who used to be at Arbour counseling left and went to a different practice in the same building. There was an agreement that I could still see my medication doctor at Arbour and continues it to see my therapist that I had spent so long working on my issues and gaining trust with. This call was sudden abrupt and rude. They gave me no assistance in finding somewhere else to receive my medication. I have called several times now to get my medical records faxed over to my new medication doctor and continue to not get a response. Used to be a good place to go but now, things have gone downhill so much that they cant even provide good service And return calls in a timely manner for their patients. If anybody takes medication, they will know what I am saying when I say how terrifying it is to have a doctor call you and tell you you cant get any of your medications anymore that you have been on for 20 years and they have no assistance for you to find somewhere new to go. And let me remind you that I did nothing wrong. I made all my appointments and was always respectful. Ever since *****, the previous Director ***** left the whole place is so unprofessional full of medication doctors who just prescribe whatever because they are like 90 years old. I think it is horrible business to end a relationship with a 20 year patient the way that they did. I highly advise anybody looking for a doctor or therapist or is currently a patient at Arbour counseling to seek a different medication/therapist office.
