I hired ***** and House Doctors from ******* List to renovate some areas of my condo for roughly 10k without any materials, all materials supplied by me.Remove old floors and install new LVP. Remove kitchen cabinets and install new ones, remove a closet and repair wall so I could paint it, remove and install new vanity, lights, and medicine cabinet in bathroom along with a toilet. (I had asked him if I could get a new toilet so the tank woul be closer to the wall, closing a 3" gap - he offered minimal guidance just took off the old toilet and put the new on - same gap exists...wtf) He has left me with nothing but issues: cabinet drawers that do not open all the way because they hit a wall, spaces between cabinets, filler that looks like a toddler installed, a wall that was never finished, floor that has bumps and soft spots, 1/4" half installed, and the list goes on. Oh, the best part is all of these issues were my fault for one reason or another. This is priceless - he told me installation of hardware on the new cabinets they installed would be extra money because that's not part of the quote. *** This person is prohibited from my property now because he was less than willing to work will me on trying to rectify/fix the problems he or his team created. I now have to hire someone who knows what there doing to come in and fix everything. What a s*** show!

House Doctors of Andover and Merrimack Valley Response

As the customer stated, ******************************************* did not buy the cabinets or do the cabinet layout design. We were hired to install the cabinets, and now they are trying to blame House Doctors for a cabinet layout issue. They designed a layout that restricts drawers from coming out the entire way because there is a wall in the way. We offered to help fix the problem, and the homeowner became angry with us, began yelling and threatening us. Throughout the process, the homeowner assumed we would do additional work for her, (spending over 3 hours to carry all of the material up 3 flights of stairs when it was supposed to be supplied and on-site) and was put back when told their would be additional costs. We did not once blame the homeowner, yet always tried to resolve issues that came up, and was accommodating to additional requests outside of our agreement. Any wall or work that is unfinished, is because the homeowner became angry, started yelling, threatening us and told us not to finish. House Doctors provided articles, diagrams and numerous different explanations on the work needed to have the toilet flush with the wall, the customer repeatedly disagreed and said they were buying what they wanted to buy. Now they are trying to blame us. After the customer was told that we could not handle any additional work or changes over the remaining days we have their work scheduled, they became irate and saying work that was not even agreed to be completed, wasnt done well.
