I hired Liberty Constructions of ****** **. Please read and DO NOT HIRE THESE CON-ARTISTS. i hired Liberty Constructio for a bathroom remodel. Contractor Jerris L******* a.k.a. Jay, contractor Jack and worker James all had a hand in to ruining my bathroom. All involved where unprofessional, cunning, sneaking and major liars. This crew lied about placing insulation under the sub floor and told me they insulated it. Liberty along with plumber ***************************** never bothered reading the directions for the shower base install and they came in and dropped the shower base and connected. This crew never placed a vapor barrier for the shower install and covered up a wet floor . After I caught them in these acts I contacted Auburn town hall building inspector *********************. **** came to my home and inspected what they had done to that point. After **** viewed the work, **** ordered Liberty to rip everything out down to the stud and redo it. Liberty completely lied about what they installed and tried covering up their deceitful practices. After they continued their level of incompetence's I notified them and fired them. Please be aware that Liberty Construction are underhanded and sneaky and you can not trust them and their quality of work. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY AS THEY ACT VERY NICE BUT THERE A BUNCH OF CONS.

I am pleased to be making a rebuttal to this customer. We live in the land of plenty where Our First Amendment rights allow us to say anything we feel like saying without just cause, or proof. You can make any story sound good if you leave out enough information.Liberty Construction was hired by this customer to straighten out problems that had been created by prior contractors.Contractors had done inferior work which needed to be torn out and replaced. That is a fact.Liberty construction called the town of Auburn for routine building inspection, as is required before you are allowed to cover the walls. The customer did not call the building inspector as she states. As part of the written contract, we were required to insulate underneath the work area. This was completed and we have pictures of the completed work. The customer requested one of our workers to open additional flooring beyond our scope which was not cleared between the contracted parties. A void was discovered with no insulation. This was not part of the scope of work, nor was it known to us until the additional area was exposed. Liberty insulated this area at no charge. Pics are available.Upon inspection of the framed wall the building inspector requested an 6ml air barrier. There was already a vapor barrier installed. Pics available. The purpose of the inspection is to make sure everything that is required gets done. The inspector did not demand all work to be torn down. It was a required function of installing the new 6ml air barrier as a normal course of work. This customer reached out to the retired owner of the company to file complaints with him and see what he was going to do about it. He took over the supervision of the job, and with a written change order gave her an upgraded shower stall at no cost to her. The original shower base was scuffed during installation and was to be replaced as one would expect. After spending two partial days at the job she requested that he (owner) not return to the site stating she didnt have time to entertain him and oversee the work at the same time. She called him at his home on a Sunday afternoon to deliver this message and become verbally abusive. After the code corrections had been made, the inspectional services came over to perform a plumbing inspection and building inspection. The customer argued with the building inspector that the shower base was put in incorrectly. She informed him that she would not accept the work even though it passed inspection that met the codes. All inspections are signed off.During the course of this job, the customer would spend part of the day giving the employees coffee and food and praising their work. Then she would spend the other part of the day verbally abusing them telling them that they were incompetent and had been installing product incorrectly for years. She was disruptive and purposely delayed the job.Upon the last inspection, the customer asked *** when he was coming back to finish the work. He gave her a date and time which would have been the Monday after Thanksgiving. On that Sunday she sent a text saying that there would be no work done until further notice. On 11/28/2022 the customer sent us a letter saying she was discontinuing the contract.Any, and all work performed by Liberty Construction is done by written contract, and any further work is done by a written change order even if there is not a change in price. Copies can and will be made available to the better Business Bureau upon request. Pictures of the completed work to date are available and will be supplied upon request. Text messages between the customer and the General Manager of ********************** **** are available as well.
