My wife and I reached out after we had seen a van we wanted online. I confirmed we were coming to visit the following day and if everything checked out, we would buy the van. It was a two-year-old Sienna with less than 7,000 miles. When we arrived, the van was inside the dealership, but the battery was dead. This should have been red flag number one they knew were coming to drive the van. After jumping the van while backing it out of the building, the tech caught the rear-view mirror on the door frame and snapped the mirror cover off. Second red flag. We said OK and paid cash but since this was a Friday night before a long weekend, the Five Day Money Back Guarantee Herb Chambers offered on this van was going to expire before we could even take delivery. Red flag number three. My insurance agent e-mailed me at 8:30 Tuesday morning that they had returned the insurance information was sent back to the dealer. It wasnt until 5pm that night when Herb Chambers called to set up delivery. I asked for later that evening but was told they didnt have time to get it inspected or cleaned even though I paid cash for the van, and they had Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Red flag number four. I wanted to pick up the van on Wednesday but was told the salesperson wasnt available. I didnt really need him since I picked this car off the internet, but the van didnt pass inspection. Because they let the battery run down, all the emissions didnt pass until the van had been driven a reasonable amount. This is where it gets really poor for customer service: the salesperson told me I could take the van for an inspection, and they would reimburse me for it. Heres the dealer who knew we were coming, but let the battery die and is now putting it on me to get the van inspected. This dealer makes you feel they are doing you the favor by selling you a vehicle. Dont bother with them as there are many other dealers who will treat you with care and do the job you pay them for.

****, thank you for the feedback. I'm disappointed to read this review knowing that we worked together to address and rectify each issue that arose. We regret the missteps along the way and wish things had gone more smoothly for everyone. It appeared that you were pleased once the vehicle had been delivered to your home with the battery replaced, codes cleared and the state inspection sticker completed. I was not aware of your concerns surrounding the 5-day return window. If there is anything presenting outstanding, or further questions remain that we can address for you, please feel free to contact me directly. I hope to improve your impression of our team. My venza 2023 hybrid audio was not working at my my first vehicle service, then horn at my 2nd vehicle servicing. All started when the 2nd key was installed .Don't know what was tampered with when installing 2nd key. No explanation as to why this is happening.

Worst dealer I have ever encountered in 50 years of purchasing automobiles. I went there a couple of weeks ago to inquire about a new Toyota Sienna they had posted on their website. Before going there, I communicated with them by email and gave them a description of my trade in and its valuation. When we arrived, they were friendly enough but, as we got to the pricing, they turned into predators. They first added $5,000 to the MSRP of the vehicle, a practice that was common during the years of the Covid pandemic but has pretty much disappeared as vehicle supply has been increasing. This tactic was NEVER listed on their website and none of the dealers in RI nor Southern Mass were currently doing this. All are selling at MSRP. Next, they deliberately undervalued my trade, neglecting the low vehicle mileage premium and options. They offered us $13,000 on a vehicle (an 8 year old Sienna XLE with a KKB trade-in value of $19,995 (I had dealer offers as high as $18,000) nitpicking at small things (i.e. a 2 inch long ink line on a seat) and under valuing its condition as they really could find nothing wrong with it. The vehicle had all new tires, battery, no dents nor dings, had just passed state inspection and could nearly pass for showroom condition. I even had all service records over the 8 years I owned it from my local Toyota dealer. The vehicle only had 96,000 miles in it and was in KBB “Excellent” condition. This stunt was orchestrated in spite of the fact that I told them in advance I was not interested in making an hour trip up there if they could not meet the trade in price which I had in writing from my local dealer! We left in disgust as they obviously deceived me in the numerous calls and emails we exchanged. I would NEVER recommend them as a dealership that will treat you fairly. I ended up purchasing from my local dealer who gave me $17,500 for my trade and will deliver the car within three weeks. Good respect and customer service.
