I hired **** of All Boston Masonry to repair a roof and ceiling of a garage. He sent me an initial estimate that was initially for $10200.00 I agreed to have him do the work. After starting the repair on 8/25 he called me the first day and told me the roof was not structurally sound and it would cost an additional $13200.00 to complete the repair. I was told support jacks were being brought in to secure the ceiling and roof. No support ***** ever appeared on site and his team continued to work on top of the roof the entire time. I was then asked to give a deposit of $5,000.00. Half way through the job I was asked for $12,000.00 for the cost of the materials 8/8/2022, and then $8500.00 on the day they told me they had finished the repair. I was then told that they would come back the following day to clean up the debris from the repair. I was never provided any documentation of licensing, permitting, nor contract or detailed final receipt for the job done. They never returned to clean up the debris left behind. Upon inspection of the garage ceiling they simply covered the exposed rebar with new concrete. Nothing was replaced, and they put down a thin layer of insulation under a new layer of rubber. I would like the debris removed and a refund so that I can find a licensed contractor to do this job correctly.Customer response
