I would give 0 stars if I could. Brought our car to **** **** in auburn MA for an air bag recall. A week later the air bag light came on. Mind u we never had an air bag light issue!! Called them to let them know. Claim it had nothing to do with the air bag they replaced, that it's a different issue? But coincidentally we had no issue until they changed the air bag!! But will fix if we pay!! So they want us to pay for their mess up?!! Ridiculous!!Ira Motor Group Response

****,
I have reviewed your review and reached out to the dealership involved and the Service Director will be reaching out to you as well.
Records show you came in on November 4th and had the 21s12 recall performed which is replacing the driver's side airbag (horn) . On November 19th you came in stating we did an airbag recall and now the airbag light is on. We checked over the work performed and confirmed the pins for the airbag were seated correctly and there is no fault with the airbag or the installation. We continued to diagnose the issue at no cost to you, confirmed there was a b0020 code present for an open circuit in the srs system. We went through the pinpoint test up until the point where we needed to start testing for a broken wire/open circuit. You declined any further diagnosis, If we had continued to diagnose and we confirmed it wasn't a wiring issue, the ppt leads us to a faulty rdm which is the module for the air bag system. The module is located behind the dashboard, which would require a partial dashboard pull. This vehicle also has a check engine light and is deemed unsafe to drive by the Technician. I can assure you that there is no way that replacing the horn would cause a wiring issue or damage to the module.

I purchased a 2024 F-150 XLT 3.5L EcoBoost from *** **** Saco on 9/14/2024. On 11/1/2024 I was driving to ************* and lost all acceleration power in the truck and the check engine light came on, followed by black smoke bellowing out of the exhaust. I had the vehicle towed to ************** in *************, which was the closest **** Dealership to where I was (approximately 3.5hrs from my house). Claremont **** confirmed that the turbo blew in my 5 week old truck and it would need to be replaced, due to a ***************** Bulletin. This truck has less than ***** miles on it. I notified *** **** on 11/1/2024 of the situation, they did not offer any solutions or help regarding getting me and my friends back to ***** from *************. I called *** **** again on 11/4/2024 and I spoke with ***** ****. ***** stated that he was baffled to hear about the situation with my brand new truck. I explained that I need a loaner vehicle and he stated that he didn't have any loaners. I explained that I have a 2.5 year old at home that I need to transport to/from daycare, as well as getting myself to and from work. He empathized with the situation but stated he didn't have a loaner, but would talk to Manager ***** ********* and call me back on 11/5. Today is 11/12/2024 and I still have not heard back from *** **** in **** regarding a loaner vehicle. Not having a vehicle for the last 11 days has created substantial stress and hardship trying to get to and from work as well as care for my son. *** **** has made no attempt to try to take care of me as a customer, I will not be doing business with *** **** in the future.Ira Motor Group Response

Thank you for reaching out via this method. It is my understanding that your vehicle repair and loaner issues were with another **** location in *** It is my understanding , as well, that we have since received the vehicle back and provided a loaner for you. Once we were able to diagnose the issue, it is determined, through testing, that there was bad fuel put into the vehicle. We have advised looking into insurance claim and or financial assistance from the fuel station you purchased fromReview from Samuel P

I came in knowing exactly what car I wanted with $10,000 to put down and my bank ready to finance the rest and they did not care what I wanted. They would not let me buy a car without financing with them and tried to add as much F& I as they could. Yes, a car dealership can refuse to accept outside financing and may insist that you finance through their preferred lenders. They know most car buyers don't take time to research financing options so they are likely to pass hidden fees into the car loan. I ended up getting an 8.29% interest rate. They told me I am not allowed to refinance until after three months which is not true. They spent so much time pushing me into financing with them that we didnt really get to go over the service package. It is possible to cancel the ************** package but the ResistAll 360, Ikon Connected Car Technologies, and any other add ons offered by the dealership are not able to be cancelled. Research these before visiting. When I spoke with their sales representative on the phone the next day they referred me to a third party website ***************************** This would take 4-6 weeks to process and requires contract numbers that the ToyotaCare Plus and Service Agreement contracts had on them but the Tire and wheel protection plan did not have on it. I was then referred to call another representative which seemed like they were with ******. This was not ****** however but another third party, ************************* They told me they canceled all of the service agreements and sent me email confirmation but I found out that this was that was not true when I was able to get this resolved once I was able to get in touch with ****** ****************** but I had to find their contact info. They confirmed that the third party only canceled the tire service agreement and then made a duplicate ********** agreement. *** was able to cancel all of the service agreements and I refinanced with my with a 6.08% interest rate.Ira Motor Group Response

My husband and I are in the midst of a deeply disappointing experience with *** ****** Dealership and ****** despite our decade-long loyalty as customers. Last month, my husband and I leased a ****, expecting the reliability we've come to associate with both ****** and *** ******. However, recent events have severely undermined our trust. Our vehicle unexpectedly stalled while in use (my husband was picking up our son from daycare), prompting us to bring it in for service. The dealership's reluctance to provide a loaner car, despite multiple requests, was our first indication of subpar customer service. We were informed that water had entered the engine, apparently a known issue with this model and other cars as well. However, the truly unacceptable aspect of this situation was the dealership's handling of the aftermath. They insisted we return the loaner vehicle and retrieve our still-unrepaired RAV4, leaving us without a reliable mode of transportation. Our attempt to resolve this through ******'s customer service was equally frustrating. Despite initial assurances from a representative that they would work with the dealership to allow us to keep the loaner until our vehicle was fixed, this did not materialize. This experience reflects poorly on both *** ****** and ******. The lack of consideration for customer convenience, safety, and satisfaction is alarming, especially given our long-standing relationship. We expected a higher standard of service and are reevaluating our choice to continue doing business with this dealership for future vehicle leases.Review from Marcia N

I leased a car from ********** back in Nov 2019. Once my contract was over I bought my vehicle in the state of *******. I moved to ******* where it is required that you be in possession of your title to register your vehicle. *** filled out the title wrong and its been a nightmare ever since. Couldnt contact a live person or get a call back for months. Finally had to go online to the finance ***** and send an email where I finally got a reply. Sent that info to my lien holder and the previous leaseholder as they are both involved and couldnt get someone to call them either. It will be one year as of Nov 1, 2023 that I have not had a registered vehicle. Im 75 live in ******* where towns I would do business/appts with are 45 minutes away. No public transportation. This has been a serious hardship. Its also not good for my car to just sit in the driveway. I guess my next step is to seek legal ********** reading other reviews Ive seen that title issues have happened on several occasions.Ira Motor Group Response

We have reviewed this and double checked all title work on our end. When the vehicle was initially leased, all paperwork was 100% correct. We received a Georgia title some time ago and after research with the Georgia DMV, you incorrectly filled out the paperwork there and listed *** ****** as the lienholder, which we were not. We returned the title to ***** and a letter stating we had no security interest in the vehicle. A new Georgia title was issued and unless they have your new location, I'm sure it is in ******** GA Title # ***************Customer Response

After your response I contacted both my previous leasing company and my present lien holder and they have assured me that at no time would I have filled out any information for my title. Im surprised you would not know that. They have verified that you infact initially filled out the title wrong.Review from Dana R

I recently used the ****** website to build a truck to my specifications and requested a quote through the site to a local dealership. In the section labeled "Instructions for the dealership," I clearly stated: "Please do not call or text me about other trucks at your dealership. I only need a quote for the truck I built."However, five days later, I've already received four phone calls, six text messages (even after opting out multiple times and asking them to stop calling), and four emails, all of which without any quote provided. This level of follow-up, despite my clear instructions, is not only frustrating but also counterproductive. Instead of being helpful, these persistent communications have pushed me further away from becoming a ***********'s time for dealerships to reassess their approach to contacting potential customers. Most people prefer not to be overwhelmed with unsolicited calls and messages. Respecting customer preferences and focusing on providing the requested information could greatly improve your customer service and overall business model. If they do not stop contacting me I will resort to talking with the government agency that deals with spam harassments.Review from Kathleen C

The car I bought was fabulous-no complaints. But when I needed a replacement key I was asked to pay $300. up front. It has been 6 months and the parts department has been jerking me around saying that only one key cutter for this service is available in the entire country. I am now told it could take up to a year for the key and that there is no way that they can cancel my order and refund my $300. This is not customer service by any stretch.Review from Jeremy C

Brand new car was bought back by **** as a Lemon. Two years later, Audi Peabody still sends service reminders about my car. I have contacted their manager every time *** received a mailer. Every time, he promises to remove me from the list. Every time I file a bad Yelp review. Nothing changes. This is very close to harassment. This episode was traumatic and Id like to put it in the past. Audi Peabody and Group 1 Automotive just keep picking, prodding, poking, and bullying. It needs to stop.Ira Motor Group Response

******,
When you purchased your car, the *** got associated with your name with our service records as well as **** themselves. We have requested all marketing vendors that we use to remove you from the lists. There are some vendors that we are not associated with that can purchase these lists and will contact you via mail. We make every effort to remove as best we can. I would saying that getting "junk mail" would not fall under the categories you described and is not by definition harassment or bullying. I too get several items in the mail daily from many sources, I simply throw them away and move on with my day without thinking there is some type of conspiracy theory associated with it. I would give that a try if another slips through the mail process.

Bought a car from *** and have had nothing but problems trying to get the car registered with the **** Spent 5 hours waiting to sign the paperwork after we agreed to buy the vehicle. It's been 13 days since the purchase and *** still hasn't registered the car even though I prepaid the registration fee and sales tax to **** At this point the car is undriveable to avoid being pulled over by the police and having an unregistered car impounded. I'm astounded and incredibly frustrated at the level of incompetence and total lack of customer service. I'll never buy from the Ira ******************** of dealerships again.Ira Motor Group Response

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I have researched this issue and found that this is a transaction that was partly effected by the *** being down and the insurance policy missing your wifes name which caused an additional delay. The salesperson did have continual communication and updates with you accordingly. ************* concern took approximately 2 weeks to resolve and the vehicle was registered on 7/16.
