Clockworks charged me for a new movement and for it to be re geared. After installing the movement it now runs 12 mins fast and the pendulum is at its lowest adjustment. Clockworks has drawn this situation out by not responding to me for days at a time. I got assistance from another clock maker and he says the movement was not regeared. However I was charged 100 dollars for regearing. They also state that if I send it back I'll loose the 100 dollars for regearing and have to pay 15 percent restocking fee that they stated will split in half with me. This whole transaction had been a horrible experience and they have drawn it out by not responding to me for days at a time. I want a full refund including shipping cost to return the item. They have been fraudulent, and this is not something I should loose money over.Business response
