I hired Master Plastering to do work on my condo prior to my move from ********** to *************. I have pictures and video of the botched work performed in my home and more importantly a police report number and recording of the threatening and insanely unprofessional behavior. The people he hired are not professionals and they had no idea what they were doing. I talked to three different companies and they all said that the woodwork (baseboards, door frames and doors) should have been sanded and primed before they were painted. The quality of the paint is irrelevant and would peel off if the proper preparation (sanding and priming) was not performed first. This is basic knowledge that any novice handyman should know to perform.After bringing the mistake up to ****** he wanted to charge me to fix his own error, which is unconscionable and unethical. I had to hire and pay a different company to correct.I sincerely feel that ****** thought he could hire cheap labor to cut corners because his client was an elderly Hispanic woman who would not know any better. When his mistakes were caught he tried to ******* me for more money and then became enraged and defensive. He is a threat and a liability. If ****** had any conscience and honor as a business owner he would apologize for his behavior and refund the portion in question. I paid $4900 for the painting and I requested $2450 back and ****** refused.Business response

I am sorry to hear that this is how you feel about the service but we agreed to paint pretty much your whole apartment and installed kitchen cabinets which we also painted. Pictures of the service are attached here: **********************. Additionally, the scratches and marks on the paint was not our fault as you hired other professionals to do different type of work who damaged everything. One of these services were flooring services which damaged the baseboards around the house and the stairs. These services were done by others and after us. You then called me over to go take a look for another estimate to repair what they did but you demanded that I did it for no additional cost. The situation quickly escalated as you pushed me on my shoulders by putting your hands on me and kicking me out of your house. The small repairs and damages done by others are not our responsibility. Here (**********************) are also attached pictures of the damaged sections which was shown not to be damaged right after our services in the other pictures, those damages were not our fault. In fact, you paid and said we did a great job and everything was fine until you called me two weeks later trying to get that second estimate. Once again I am sorry that you were not satisfied but we did everything in our power, in a just way, to resolve the issues.
