I called John's oil on 2/4/22 that my furnace stopped working as is was going to be near zero degrees all weekend. I was told that i would have to pay $185/hr because it was after 5pm plus a flat $185 for a emergency service call. A repair guy came out said i needed a capactior and would call me first thing in the morning. Nobody ever called. Im freezing, worried my pipes would freeze, called to get an eta and the guy kept saying how many gallons of oil? Finally someone put the owner on who had no idea an emergency call even took place the night before. he said he would have to get back to me, at 11ish i was told someone would be there monday, I asked do i take the day off of work, will it be first thing in the morning etc. All i got was i dont know. I ended up calling on Monday morning, was told someone would be by soon, paid $109/hour plus parts (oh the 1st night he jumped the motor and suggested i never do that) he came installed a capacitor and said i was good to go. It lasted 3 weeks!!! so I spent over $300 for emergency repair which i did not receive as well the rapair didn't last. Mind you i spent close to $400 the week before on oil!! I emailed no response, I called nothing. I would like a refund as I do not want anything to do with this rude company. I have been a customer for well over 20 years, and my family before i bought the house to be treated so poorly. I plan to move on to someone better. Oh they also installed a new tank that had leaked since day of installation!

************ was paid by a Program in mass Action for fuel/heat service assistance. Johns Oil sent out a technician and repairs were fixed at second try, but now a connection error has occurred after second try with a heating system from my garage and the company does not want to come out to fix the misconnections, because Action only covered to pay for the apartment heating system repairs not the garage, yet the garage never had an issue. Now ************ refuses to do repairs on the issue they caused. I feel that the technician was upset he was being called out to fix the issue and that at his second attempt he purposely switched the connections. On top of this they used a part I used in my basement and billed a new part to Action in their estimate. So they are not being honest with the work they perform. I have called multiple times to Johns Oil to at least explain to them the problem, but they do not want to hear me out or let me explain the problem, the girl at the desks hung up o. I was yelled at and sworn to by their technician, they are very inappropriate to work with.

They have come several times over other issues, but this time specifically is what bothers me most. Today 1-12-2022 I called them to take a look at my system because they had just come twice in the past 40 days and now we were having another problem. The problem this time was that they did not put enough additive in my tank during the last delivery in November. They also had not done a delivery in December and I am set up for automatic delivery. Because the additive wasn't enough my oil froze and I did not get heat. They charged me for the service even though the issue was caused by their negligence. I don't mind paying for the techs time, but the $109 service charge is ridiculous when they caused the problem. They charged me a total of $135 this time.
