On March 8, 2024, my wife and I had dinner at the ***** location of *********************************************** in ***********. The dinner cost $580 plus tip. Within 30 minutes of leaving the restaurant, I felt very ill while going home in the cab and my wife also fell ill. Clearly something was off with our meal and we both experienced painful food poisoning. We sent the restaurant an email the next morning (still feeling ill), asking if other had also experienced food poisoning to see if we can determine if we need to see a doctor or just wait for it to go away. A manager called us the next, asked for details about what we ate and said he would get back us very soon and promised to make restitution for the meal. He stated that no-one else had reported falling ill. We reported the incident to the Florida ************************ and the conducted an inspection and found a number of violations, including instances of food kept at improper temperatures which could have caused our illness. It was a few weeks before someone from the *** corporate office called us and apologized for our food poisoning and said they would be sending us a gift certificate to cover the cost of our unfortunate dinner. It has been over a month and nothing has arrived. I wrote again to the *** restaurant in ***** and they have not responded.Customer response

I have not heard from the business in response to my complaint.
