We had a home inspection done in June 2022, we closed on the house September 1, 2022 and within the first few weeks, several issues came up that should have been brought to our attention. We contacted the owner of the inspection company, *********************, License #***. He came to our home to address our concerns. He agreed these items should have been brought our attention and if he did the inspection himself, they would have. He told us he would initiate an insurance claim and we should file a complaint. Which we did October 5th. We provided pictures statements and anything the insurance company asked for however quickly they responded there needs to be an investigation and they are not taking any liability. After several phone calls trying to get a response because we had to get these issues repaired, no response until a few days ago and they are not taking any responsibility, siting language in their contact. However, the language contradicts itself. In addition to the fact that the owner admitted these should have been brought to our attention. We could use your assistance. These items cost us almost $10,000. If they were brought to our attention we probably would not have gone forward with the purchase or at the very least addressed them with the owner. We paid for a premium inspection, $1,256.75 to be sure the most thorough inspection was done of the property. If we were made aware of any of the issues discussed in our complaint we would have reconsidered buying this house. They are indications of the builder taking shortcuts and who knows what else we could find.
