I wrote this about a month ago after we made **** ************ aware of the issue. Since then I had other experts come in and verify the crack was not dug out, secured, and taped properly. I want it fixed properly or **** to pay for the repair:At the end of January and beginning of February, I hired **** to do some work at my house. Most of the work was okay. **** didn't come to the job site except to look at the work and to collect payment. A few of his non English speaking workers asked us not to tell him about the errors they made and that they would fix them on their own time. That didn't happen as planned so we contacted **** last month. He just came back to fix errors last week. One of the main concerns he fixed was a crack in my textured ceiling. The other day, I looked up and noticed the ceiling had cracked in the same spot that had been repaired. **** was called and we were told it was fine the other day, which it was. He was here two days prior. No one has been in the attic. He got angry and said "I no do no more painting for you, call lawyer". Throughout the project, there were many small mistakes which I let go. I paid a lot of money to have this retextured and repaired. I had someone come look at the crack today and it was because ****'s employee didn't properly screw the plaster to the rafters every so many inches and properly tape before retexturing. I want to be reimbursed the amount I am getting quoted to fix the crack properly or I will have to pursue the claim in court as **** told me to do. If it goes to court I will seek damages for repair cost, missed work, legal fees, etc.Business response
