Tracking #: ** ***** **** ** ****** **** I asked *** to pack and ship a record player. I shared that the item was delicate and that I wanted a professional to pack it securely. I was asked about the address and never was offered or asked about any kind of insurance on the item. I was hoping to watch him pack the box for peace of mind but I was told it would be packed "in the back" and was told to be on my way. *** advertises a pack & ship guarantee if you pay them to pack your items for you. My package arrived in an oversized box with almost no packing material at all. My record player was in a box which is approximately 16.5 x 8.5 x 22 inches in dimensions. However this box was dumped into a cardboard box which is 18 x 26 x 22 inches in dimension. I question why 18 inches of headspace was left between the height of my box and the box *** thought was an appropriate size to ship a record player in. The shipping costs associated with what could have been accomplished by a baseball bat cost me $82.54. I will also now need to purchase a replacement record player. The model of this record player, the Audio Technica AT-LP120, is now discontinued. Please see the vendor website here: ****************. This model was replaced with a new version which currently retails for $399.00. Please see the vendor website here: ****************. With taxes and fees to purchase a currently-available new, somewhat equivalent replacement, this would total $410.85. When we include the shipping costs for my "guaranteed" delivery of my discontinued record we arrive at a total loss of $493.39 caused by the gross negligence and incompetence of the individual who packed my order after being told the item was delicate and my request for a professional to please take great care in packing my order. I expect a refund for the full cost of an equivalent replacement as well as the fee I was charged by ***.

Hello - I tried calling 4 times during the day. I got a voicemal that was not set up for the store. I went to the store to inquire about my package. The manager (Long hair, mustache, about 30) gave me incorrect information about them trying my house again. I had to cajole him into tracking my package. I told him that I work pretty far away and how do I contact them. He said I could call. He tried calling himself and realized that it doesn't work. Phones were not powered. He mentioned that he didn't remember the phones ringing that day. He then walked away from me and went to the back of the store. I figured he was going to check on my package. He didn't say anything by way of leaving me at the counter. I stood around at the counter. Eventually, another woman came in and had some boxes to bring in. I went out to her car to help her, while I was waiting for the manager to get back to me. After a couple trips to the car, the manager was again at the front counter, but didn't acknowledge me. I eventually asked him about my situation again. But, he was dismissive and told me the phones work now. He kept his head mostly down and ignored me. It's now an hour later and they still are not answering there phones. I asked him for the owners name. His response was he didn't know. The owner was in India. ###-###-####
