Paid half-down ($1,200) for a table in January. My wife went back and forth on design and stain for table. We even provided them one of our chairs to help match stains. Like the others here, communication was great in the beginning and then it tapered off and now silence. The few times we did receive texts it was the same, kid health issues, emergencies, etc. The one delivery date they did provide came and went without any notification from them. They have now changed their company to Coastal Custom Carpentry. These are grifters. Stay away from them.Review from Forest H

Paid half-down ($1,625) on a table in February, went back and forth on design for months, communication was amazing including a 30 minute design call with Caroline. Was told delivery would be about 8 weeks after that, which kept getting pushed due to a move they had that was keeping them busy. Communication remained great, with almost instant responses, so I was ok with this. Eventually communication slowed, and I was given a delivery time which was not met, so asked again and was told it would ship on August 10. It is now October 1st and I have not had a single communication with them despite, emails, phone calls and texts, instagram messages and facebook messages. I am getting ready to file a civil suit, but ultimately just want the table my wife was really excited for, or at least the money I have out to them back.Review from Jessica B

Do not order from these people. My husband and I purchased a custom dining table, put down a $1000 deposit, and as soon as they got our money, their communication was essentially nonexistent. Getting wood samples and updates on our orders was like pulling teeth. Caroline will make an excuse in the book to explain why she cant talk on the phone or send a simple stain sample in the mail. They originally quoted us 12-14 week timeframe to make and deliver the table. Here we are, almost 6 months into the process, and we are donw $1000 an NO table and NO communication from the sellers. They finally gave us a concrete delivery date of 9/13, and they never showed up and havent answered our calls/texts/voicemails since. These guys are ********. AVOID at all costs. We filed a dispute with our credit card company to get our money back.Review from Hilda H

As others have clearly stated this company is a fraud. I ordered a table Aug/2023. It is now end of June/2024 I have since received countless excuses as to delays, falsified delivery dates. even went as far as to falsify tracking updates for a table that never shipped! I requested my refund more than a month ago. they claim they sent it, which I know is a lie. The card used to purchase the table is no longer valid and they are using that as an excuse as to why I have not received my refund. They are basically blaming my bank, but the refund would have been processed or returned to them by now seeing how it's been a month and a half. They said they would provide me banking proof they sent it, when I asked for them to provide that they ignored me. I currently have no table and no refund for $2900. Seeing all these reviews tells me I cannot let this slide. I will be pursuing legal action. I do not care how much it costs me. These people need to learn. in an economy like today you are resorting to stealing peoples money! Shame on you!Review from Regina M

This business B&C Woodworks, owners Brian and Caroline ****** is a fraud. Similar to others who have posted here. The order of a dining table + 2 benches were never made to which we paid half, about $1500.00 in Nov. 2023. First we were told it will be delivered before X-Mas, then January, then Feb, March, April etc. Caroline basically stopped communicating in February. I kept following up and have been receiving excuses after excuses, sick kids, hospitalized kids, short staff, emergency sickness.... They have basically stolen our money and no products were delivered. Their **** account has been cancelled. It looks like they blocked me from ** from further posting a 1-star review. They blocked me from their website. We are communicating with ****** to get our money back. One thing I can say for these owners.... It won't end well. Darkness will follow you for the scams. $1500 is cheap compared to the karma that's coming to them.Review from Sarah W

They are thieves! I paid $1,500 for a table in December. Caroline continued to give me excuse after excuse and kept pushing the delivery date back. At one point, telling me that it had already been shipped. Another time, told me that it was being delivered by Brian himself. My husband stayed home all day waiting. No table. Brian called later that day saying there was a mix up on the calendar and offered a refund. Weeks later, no refund and no table. They won't return phone calls or emails and we are out the money because it's been past the 180 day time frame for PayPal to do anything. They knew exactly what they were doing! Stay away and do not give them any of your money!Review from Laura M

Seems to be a recurring issue with Brian ********* and BC Woodworks. I paid $1688 for a coffee table on January 6, 2023 and I have not received nor gotten a refund. Brian sent several messages in **** about reasons for the delays including some BS about it being shipped (obviously it was not) and a problem pregnancy (which I was sensitive to but that was probably BS too). Now their **** account is down, there are no responses, and no recourse for a refund. **** suggested they were a problem…nice to know that now. If anyone is researching them for some furniture, definitely don’t pay a dime until you get your furniture. BC Wodworks is not an ethical or good business.Review from Kaliopi P

I paid a deposit and was promised a table by Christmas it’s now March 14th and I have not received a table. They gave me two other dates that it would be ready and it’s not. They are now not responding to text, emails, Etsy, Facebook.
