I have never received a written contract from Organic Lawns, despite paying for their services throughout this year. I have left many voicemails, and spoken directly with Rob, requesting this document.Today (8/30/2024), at 11:19 AM, I spoke with Rob about being charged for services that have not been done. He asked me to call him this afternoon, and he will answer my questions. I have lost trust in his company, and need to have my Contract cancelled. How will I be able to cancel this Contract without a written copy of this document?Review from Andrea A

I just want to say how pleased I am with rob and his crew. My yard has never looked better then it does now. Darren does such a wonderful job on my yard he is very respectful to me and always says hello . He is very knowledgeable and you should be very pleased to have him as an employee.Review from Arnold C

We have utilized the services of this lawn care company for the past couple of years. We are very happy with our lawn’s appearance, health and maintenance. Rob and his crew are very honest, available and promptly reply to every request. We have two family dogs and were very concerned about any adverse impacts the lawn treatments might have on them. One of my dogs has severe allergies. Rob assured me that his products are organic, approved by Montgomery County, Maryland, and are also pet and human “safe.” So far so good. We sincerely appreciate the superb care taken with our lawn - it is the pride of the neighborhood. We appreciate how well the back yard is also doing after we removed a large above ground swimming pool. The program that we are utilizing seems to be working very well. We appreciate the patience, professionalism, expertise and kind demeanor of the owner - we highly recommend this company without hesitation or reservation.Review from Kim W

I'm a new customer and very impressed with the professionalism in dealing with Rob and the lawn tech, Darren, who did my first treatment. Darren explained everything to me he was doing and provided suggestions on trouble areas in my lawn. I see the results of their service on my neighbors lawn, who recommend me to them. Their lawn is beautiful, green, lush and healthy and I look forward to my yard looking the same and giving a five star rating.Review from Patty W

I've been a customer of Organic Lawns since 2014, and I appreciate the stellar customer service rendered by Rob and his team. With all the leaves in my yard in the fall, he's happy to reschedule the treatment until I can get them up. I've never had an issue with billing or scheduling. In addition, the lawn treatments have improved my lawn greatly!Organic Lawns Response

Five stars from me.
I have used Organic Lawns for over 7 years. Rob and his crew do my shrubs, all turf, aeration and seeding, fertilizing, etc.,. they always have done a great job. They are timely and w/o any billing issues. I would recommend Organic Lawns to anyone interested in having a professionally maintained yard.
Rob & his crew are responsive and attentive. Organic Lawns has a 4.8 star rating on ****** with over 120 reviews. Don't be influenced by ****** or ********** comments. When you are starting with a lawn that's been neglected and needs attention, you can't expect overnight changes. From my experience, it can take a full service program implemented for 2 years before judging results. I don't believe either of those customers who gave the 1 star reviews let the process unfold in order to see the positive outcome that I was able to see at my home.
I hate to see a good company and person be so negatively portrayed and felt the need to set the record straight and hope that my positive review can overcome the negative ones previously mentioned.

CAUTION: Organic Lawns destroyed my lawn. When I contacted Rob/Ron, he stated that the lawn was dormant. I religiously, regularly watered my lawn before. I increased my water bill by trying to revive it. It did not. I had to step and restart my lawn costing me an unnecessary expense. I was none-too-pleased.
Rob/Ron has taken unauthorized monies from my account. Which is pilferage. He fiends daftness by muttering-- "oh, I'll refund your account, after performing an unwanted tap-
dance--when you call him on it--he knew that he was caught like a deer in headlights. It made my head explode.
After that call and haven taken monies from my account--had the unmitigated gall-- to casually state, "I'm at a restaurant right now." I guess he was after taking extra funds from my account!
As gracefully as I could, I compelled him to return my monies immediately without delay. Not now--but RIGHT NOW! This brazen act of deceit is not an acceptable business practice. I even went so far as to educate him on business ethics and integrity. He failed miserably even with my driving home several points more than once. The exasperation is real.
He will call to inform you that they are coming out the day before--debiting your account before the services are even provided. That is a terrible idea. Here's why: I could have no longer owned the home, placed in a nursing home, or bid the world a final farewell.
Rob/Ron does not make good choices by never mentioning that he added charges for something you never agreed too in the first place. He has done it at least three times. I finally divorced, Organic Lawns.
Hopefully, after reading this unflattering review he will humbly redirect his course of mendacity. --Yvette M. P*********

In the summer when temperatures reach in excess of 90 degrees and there is limited irrigation tall fescue grass goes into a dormant state. It is completely natural for a lawn during this short stressful period to turn brown due to the high heat and duress of any typical Maryland summer. This is very normal and it is how your lawn protects itself. We are disappointed you have decided to cancel OrganicLawns because we offered a very fair price of $49.95 and were making wonderful strides in your lawn. Your lawn is thicker, greener, and healthier and we were very happy with the results we were making in a short amount of time. When you called OrganicLawns and I mentioned I was at a restaurant it was because your telephone call occurred after working hours at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday night and I was with my wife and 2 beautiful daughters. I kindly answered your telephone call after normal hours as a courtesy to help you with any questions you may have. We believe our customers are part of our lawn care family and wanted to be accessible to you even if it happened to be late on a Saturday night. We enjoyed servicing your lawn and appreciate your past business.

Robert, you neglected to take responsibility for overcharging my account of $148.95 when I had cancelled the services with Organic Lawns on my last application. The grass never returned to the healthy state. As you stated in your response...the price that I agreed to was $49.95. That's it. That's all. You cherry-picked to set the narrative to be favorable to your company. And, I refute that. As far as being out to dinner with your family and it was after hours. Then you should have made the choice, of calling me back on the next business day. And, I will not take responsibility for that--my call was not an emergency. It was about the lawn--not a medical emergency. I had to start the process from scratch--dethatching, aerating, fertilizing, putting down top soil and grass seeds, which is not what I should have had to do at all. I'd like a response to your having charged me $148.95. 1) When I cancelled the service, 2) You had taken monies from my account without my consent even--before contacting me. Therefore, that is considered pilfering. Had I not received my notice of deductions from my financial institution--you would have gotten away with it.Review from Patricia L

Do not use!!! Totally ruined my lawn! When I called was told that the lawn was dormant- this was in June and my lawn was brown and dead! When I asked what they would do to make it right - I was told that nothing they put on the lawn would hurt it and would come look at it - but never showed up. Terrible customer service!!! Dear Patricia,
You contracted OrganicLawns less than a year ago with a severe fungus issue and a very damaged lawn. We were very transparent with you from the beginning and let you know that lawns with funguses can be improved but it does take a little patience because the life cycle of the fungus is lengthy & more importantly the severe damage your lawn had taken from the fungus would take 1-2 full seasons to correct. You then reached out to us on June 7TH, but you you did not request a consultation , you in fact cancelled our service at that time which was a little over 6 months from inception. We feel we could have corrected the original fungus issues and are very sorry we were not allowed enough time to create a beautiful lush green lawn for you and your family. We truly enjoyed servicing your property and wish you the best.
