  had a new exhaust system,from the converter back,exhaust pipe-muffler-tail-pipe installed,with the understanding it was to be a QUIET MUFFLER,it is anything but that,have taken it back,to have it corrected,the owner,MR LESTER W.,says there is nothing wrong,I refuse to believe this,it is still LOUD,want it fixed correctly,with a QUIET MUFFLER,or a refund of $272 and some change!thank you!

Since the vehicle is 33 yrs old original equipment was not available. OE equivalent was used on the vehicle in order to obtain the best results. We have driven with him and showed him that everything was installed properly on the vehicle and there are no exhaust leaks. Our goal is for the customer to be happy with the work performed on his 1988 Chevy S-10. We have done everything we can to resolve the issue. At this point we believe it is in the customers best interest to find a shop that can achieve the results he is looking for. Again we appreciate his business and hope that he will be able to find a shop that will be a better fit for his 1988 S-10. Consumer Response /* (4200, 19, 2022/01/24) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) still sounds loud,it may be the converter,mr w. told me it was very rusty looking,which i could see for myself,on the lift,so maybe replaceing the converter would solve the issus,so am requesting a converter be installed on the vehicle,since it is over 30 yrs old! We can not obtain OE equipment for his vehicle. A shop that specializes in exhaust repairs may be able to satisfy the customers issue with his converter. We hope he is able to find a place that will meet his needs for his 1988 pickup.
