I purchased a 2006 Chrysler 300 in 2016 from this dealership. I drove it off the lot and on my way home, the car started doing weird things. It would lose power and all the icons on the dashboard would light up. it would lose all power, and I was fortunate to steer it off the road. This happened several times while driving home. I notified the dealership, and was told to return the car. I got the car back to the dealership and they made some repairs. I informed them that I was not paying one red cent for those repairs. I picked the car up and it was doing okay. Two weeks ago, I started having the same problem. I took the car back explaining that it was doing the same thing. They made some more repairs charging me $1800.00. I picked the car up on Saturday and by Thursday of the same week, I started having the same issues, only this time the car had to be towed back to the shop. They called to tell me that this time the repairs would be over $1100.00. I am a 79 year old woman living on a fixed income. This whole thing has been a very challenging experience, and I am totally disgusted. **** *Review from Brandon L

The week of April 15th 2024 I had a recall on a 2015 Dodge ram EcoDiesel. The mechanic that fixed it broke a bolt off in the engine. He didn't say anything about it until I brought it in a week later because there was diesel fuel leaking all over the place all over my wheel well, all over my brakes, and I can't even warm the truck up in the morning without choking on diesel fuel fumes. I was told that I could not have a loaner car. And I had to drive my vehicle 30 minutes home with diesel fuel leaking everywhere. I guess I'm going to have to call corporate. Taking your vehicle to a dealership, there's supposed to be an amount of trust there. Being a dealership they're supposed to know what they're doing.Review from Ana A

I purchase a 2023 Jeep Gladiator and advise the sales person the finance person I was paying cash for this vehicle, they advised me to complete some documents where they asked for my full name and address and if I own my property and sign they stated the needed this for the car purchase. They run a credit report on me and months later they send me a letter that they declined me for vehicle financing that I did not even apply for. When I called and spoke with Mr. Wilson in the finance department they tell me this is Mr. Tate rules. Not sure what type of rules they have if they got a check for me for the vehicle why they send me a declined letter in the mail for something that I did not even applied for.Review from Ana A

Terrible slow service and place smelled like ass the whole 2 hrs I was there. Sales rep finally cracked a window. Do not go for inspection at Tate’s. Waste of time & money for services not rendered.Review from Moazzam R

Stay away from this dealership, they deliberately gave me the wrong info while financing my Chrysler 300. I was told the business loan will not be reported on my personal credit but of course car loan showed up on my personal credit.Review from James B

Me and my wife took her dodge dart in there for an oil leak they charged us 1,800$ for the repair we went and picked it up drove it home and parked it went to get dinner i noticed a puddle of oil underneath it so i called them up they said bring it back tomorrow and they will look at it so i took it back the next morning we’ll around lunch time they call me and stated it wasn’t the original issue and charged me another 5100$ for repairs horrible customer service i seem to think they need more training or just flat out fired i don’t think this is right or fair at all the repairs cost more then the cars worthReview from Kenneth D

We had our car in for a recall for oil consumption and leak issues and all of a sudden they state we have a head gasket oil leak which cost us $3500. The oil leaks continued for several months the the car would shut down at highway speeds. Took to a shop and they stayed it was the VVT Selonoids leaking but they didn't have proper tools to do repair. So went back to Tate in Frederick Maryland to get fixed. They said it wasn't the VVTs it was the valve cover gasket leaking $1500 . Took car back a day later with same leak and know they agree it's the VVTs leaking oil, another $2100 to fix. Something has to be done with these fools
