On 3/19/2024 I went in to the store to speak about switching to T-Mobile from **** and to see if they had any promotions going on as I also needed a new phone. The woman that helped me said they had a promotion that if I traded in my old iPhone I would receive a free iPhone 15, Apple Watch (which I told her I didn't need but she said was included with the phone), and additionally could purchase a few accessories that would all be free with my trade-in. I decided to make the switch and was told multiple times my monthly payment would be $90/month but the first month's bill may be more/less and I didn't owe anything that day. The first month's payment was less than $90 so I wasn't concerned, but the second month's payment was $150, and after speaking to Customer Support I found out that none of those things were free and I was paying installment fees on everything. I then realized that I never received a full receipt from 3/19 (only page 1 of 4). I went back to the store and spoke to the manager who said I must've misunderstood and then said that there had been a promotion on the apple watch that had ended two days prior so he would reach out to management to see if I could get a refund for that but I was unable to return anything. I was able to pay off the watch and accessories that day (5/16) but have not heard anything about a refund for the watch and my monthly bill is now $115 which is still higher than what I was paying at ****, but since it's been past 30 days I have been told I am stuck and there is nothing they can do for me. I feel that the woman who originally helped me on 3/19 ******* me as I never even looked at phones or asked to get a watch and am now stuck paying for a $900 phone and had to pay $300 for a watch I haven't used at all. Plus I am paying $25/ month more than I had been promised. I also don't anticipate ever seeing a refund for the watch as the manager promised. I will return everything and switch companies if that is needed.
