Last November I paid $500 for a bathroom countertop, They had me sign a contract that was very extensive. When I received the countertop it had cracks, chips, & filled in pitted holes. The salesman was not supposed to sell me a used piece of granite. He said at the signing of there contract that he would get me a refund if anything were to go wrong. When I talked to Christine to get a refund she did not know what to do. She ended up refunding only $233 of the total amount.

This is Christine C*******  I am the owner of Nature's Granite, LLC.

I have provided multiple vanity tops for Mr. ******.  I always have him sign a contract.  He signs off in the contract that he accepts the material the way they are.  I am attaching the contract for this job.

For this job - he paid for the vanity top and picked it up.  A while after he picked up the top, he called and said it did not match his bathroom colors and he was not happy with it.  He wanted to come and pick a new material and for me to remake the top with the new material for free.  I told him I could not do that.  He said he would keep the old vanity top and use it in another vanity in his house but he just did not like it in the bathroom he bought it for.

I explained that he would need to pay for the new vanity.  After many conversations, he and I agreed that I would refund him $233 for his existing vanity top and remove the sink he provided and give the sink back to him.  I explained that I had already done the work and he already accepted it when he picked it up, but in good faith, we agreed on this common ground.  On 5/10/23 he cashed the check for $233.00.  At that point I explained to Mr. ****** that he would be better off finding a new supplier for his customer vanity tops.

Therefore, I consider this complaint handled and closed.  Please let me know if it needs to be discussed further or if I need to engage my attorney

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:    Her explanation was very incorrect.   Christina knows that the counter top was used & had several pits &  cracks  in the surface. I explained this to her when we talked the first time.  She told me that they were not supposed to sell anything used. Her explanation of what I said had nothing to with  the defective product.    The color match of the countertop was fine.    Her description was what we talked about when I told her it was defective & I wanted to bring it back.  I brought the countertop to  her workers & gave them the countertop back.   All that I want is to be refunded for the mistakes her workers made when they gave it to me defective.    I told the salesperson to check for cracks when I first saw it & he did not check.  I do not feel that I am responsible for her workers neglect.

      Sincerely,

      **** ******
