On 6/30/22, I arrived at 9:30 am to Dr. Silverman's office for my 10:00 am appt. I requested to speak to Kelly, the financial person. An office employee said that she wasn't available and she'd see me after the appointment. Once I was serviced, I informed the Front Desk that I would be discontinuing treatment since realizing they were out of network. In addition, I was also going to be traveling soon and unavailable. The Front Desk Rep became visibly displeased and abruptly left the desk. I stood at the desk and patiently waited for her return for 10 minutes or more. After a while, Dr. Silverman comes out of the office and begins to make small talk about my travel plans and insisted upon "finishing up my treatment." I again said that I need to speak to Kelly and this is my last visit. Moments later, Kelly comes out and we then go to her office to speak. I explained to Kelly that I no longer wish to continue with treatment, would like a printout of all charges and to have the incomplete treatment credited back to my Alphaeon dental credit account. She tells me that I have multiple claims pending. I tell her that I received an explanation of benefits from my dental insurance company and I am maxed out. I asked her to explain what I have been billed, she would not. I asked her for a printout of my visits, charges and payments - she abruptly excused herself and left the room without returning. After waiting, I went to the front desk, informed them that I needed to leave and to have Kelly call me. On 7/1/22 I received a voicemail from Kelly stating she got my message and wanted to continue treatment. I called back and left a message asking again for a printout and that I would not be returning. On 7/10/22 Alphaeon credit informed me that my acct has been charged for $12,000. As of 7/12, I have not received a printout of charges or a credit for the incomplete treatment. I have never swiped this card during a visit and applied for the credit through the office.
