Downspout of gutter fell off. Contacted the owner (Jeff), via text with photo asking him to repair andlifetime not responded. Siding popping off near soffit. Contract states lifetime guarantee. Contacted the owner (Jeff), via text with photo asking him to repsir and he had not responded. This will end up causing water damage.Business response

We received the message from this customer whose work we performed on her house last August. It's important to note that these issues in the pictures provided are a result of the high winds we have been having in the area these past few months and not due to any faulty labor in our part. At any rate, we will try our best to have someone come out to reattach the elbow on the downspout and retack up the piece of siding. We are extremely short handed right now so we will try our best to get someone out there soon.Customer response

I hired Crown Remodeling to replace the gutters and siding of my home. They started off by putting the wrong color siding on my house. When i called the owner, he asked me, "can you live with it?", As I was inspecting the siding (before they placed the correct color), I noticed a hole with insulation coming out of it. It was mostly covered with siding, but I could still see the hole (I can provide photos). They flat out lied to me about the insulation "falling from the sofit above" when there's clearly a hole in my house where the insulation is coming from and tried to convince me that they placed flashing. I was able to see that there was no flashing. They apparently fixed it after they installed the correct color, but I doubt it. One of the installers was drinking beer (Coors Light) while working on scaffolding on my property. One of them peed on my house. They also got caulk on brand new porch couch cushions. They installed a downspout sticking straight out right between a door and stairs (a major trippng hazard, and I'm afraid I'm going to gash my shins on it), and when I asked about it, the owner, Jeff, said he would have it fixed and he never did. We had also originally agreed that they would paint another portion of my house. The communication was very slow and it took a while for them to send me the contract for that. After I signed it, communication was slow to try to schedule the date. I had asked the sales associate, Nick and he said that Jeff had to get back to him. Over a week later, I texted the owner Jeff and let him know that I was frustrated due to all of these things happening, and that I wanted to schedule to complete the job. He basically told me to find another person to do it. There is also an area below a window that has no siding underneath, and in my opinion, looks unfinished. I had sent him photos and asked why it was like that, and he has not responded. I can provide photos and screenshots of everything.Business response

It's unfortunate to receive a complaint of this nature after we had a walk thru with this customer and all was ok. In regards to the downspout, this was placed in the correct and only spot and is unable to be moved. The siding below the window is actually not siding but part of the roof flashing and it cannot be covered up. The hole in the bottom of the siding was corrected prior to this complaint. As far as the additional painting work, there has been no deposit made towards this work and we are not interested in doing a project of this nature and considering this complaint, we don't see how this customer may still be interested in our services, so it's best to part ways. On the issue of the siding crew drinking and urinating, we were not there to witness this, however we have made mention to the crew that if any behavior and/or complaint of this sort is to brought to our attention, they will all be immediately terminated. The "walk thrugh" as Jeff described that event was actually Jeff showing up to my house unannounced. He asked me what I thought and I told him about the gutter. He literally stated that he would have it taken care of. And when he asked me about everything else, I specifically stated that I hadn't had a chance to look at the back yet, abs I will let him know the next time we chat when we schedule the rest (which clearly never happened).
I have been trying to get them scheduled for the rest so I could show him under the window (which had siding under it before), but I had never gotten to schedule that because they are testicle with communication. And then, when I texted him a photo and asked why it was like this, he never responded, and that is when I contacted BBB.
My next step is to have another contractor look at the gutter and under the window, and if it needs to be corrected, I will offer Jeff the chance to fix it, or I will have another contractor fix it and request that he covers expenses, then I leave my honest review with photos.

This business has a new address: 2209 Shaded Brook Dr, Owings Mills, MD 21117. Baltimore County inspector requires a fire door in my garage addition, a door that leads into my basement. The last inspection failed. I asked this company to take care of it. The owner became offended and told me to "lose this number."Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 7, 2022/01/12) */ The original inspector with Baltimore County that reviewed the plans for this customer made no mention of requiring a fire safe door for that area in the garage, he only stated that one was needed for the door by the kitchen, which we installed. Therefore, we went by his recommendations, this was not our intention for any of this to happen or to delay the passing of a final inspection. We have since ordered the door which had to be special ordered and unfortunately, with all the delays in the supply chain, it's taking even longer than it would normally. Lowe's stated that the "estimated pickup date" for the door is January 31, 2022. As soon as we get notification that we can pick up the door, we will have it installed immediately and submit a request into Baltimore County for a final inspection that will pass. We appreciate your patience throughout this process and are working diligently to rectify the issue. Thank you.
