On 6/26, I went to this salon to get my hair braided. I asked for 16 small cornrows and showed photos. I was told the service would cost $150 (plus $15 tip). I went in at 11:30am for my appointment, and paid at around 2:30 pm via ***** once it was done. Once getting out to my car and looking in the mirror, I noticed that there were 15 braids so was not done correctly. I went back in and asked if the woman would fix it, she complied but then made another mistake and did 17 instead of 16. At this point, it had been hours and the braider was still not getting the style right so the owner offered to have the style taken out and said I would get a full refund via *****. She said she had a limit for the day, so she would send it tomorrow morning. I gave her my name and number twice for the future ***** payment, agreed, and they took the hair out and I left with my hair not done. The next morning, I had still not received my $165 back into my account, so I texted the owner to ask the status. She claimed she had sent the money, but I did not receive anything. She stopped replying via text, so I called her. She then said she'd send me a screenshot confirming that she sent me the money. When looking at the cropped screenshot, I saw right away that the name and number was not mine. She then said she sent the money to the wrong person, and wouldn't pay me what I was owed and hung up on me. After several attempts to get my money back, she is refusing to send it to me now.
