      On 10/17/24, I met with Ryan from Perfect Painters & More to discuss painting projects. He prepared a quote for $900 to include painting walls, ceilings, trim and doors of a hall bathroom, a ceiling in the laundry room and a ceiling in a bedroom. A $300 deposit was submitted to Ryan and work was scheduled for Nov. 8, but the Project Manager, Antonio, called on Nov. 7 and stated Perfect Painters couldn’t complete the projects on Nov. 8, so the projects were rescheduled to 11/13/24. On 11/13/24, the painter, John, said he would have to return to complete all the projects because he couldn’t complete them in one day. I informed him that I previously spoke with Antonio and due to upcoming inspections, we weren’t able to reschedule for him to complete all the projects. However, we were okay if the painter would complete the bathroom project, which includes painting the walls, ceilings, trim and door as per the contract. So, at 11:21 am, Ryan sent a text (see below) that $100 would be deducted from the bill, which means the remaining balance would be $500 ($900 - $300 - $100). “Good morning, this is Ryan with Perfect Painters & More. I was informed you are not having the ceilings painted in the bedroom and laundry room. We’ll be reducing your project balance by $100.00.” The painter was able to paint the bathroom walls and ceiling, but wasn’t able to paint the bathroom trim and doors because he had to leave, which was ~ 2:30 pm. Since the bathroom trim and doors were not completed as per the contract, we’re requesting Perfect Painters to adjust the bill and resubmit a final invoice with the address to submit final payment since we cannot access their link due to error messages. The request is not unreasonable and should be quickly resolved without wasting time with staffing and communication issues.

      Please know that Perfect Painters aims to provide a World Class experience to our customers. Reading your concern shows we did miss that goal on your project and sincerely apologize. However, please know that you weren't charged for anything yet. Your Sales Rep did communicate the reduction and your invoice was updated by our Account Team Member, Antonio, as he and you were emailing to confirm this change. We weren't aware of the door and trim not being completed, so we will further reduce your job for the $50 bid for that portion and also offer an additional $150 customer care reduction. Your invoice was updated so you can review and pay your updated remaining balance. So in total that is a $300 value of reductions in total.

      We hired Perfect Painters & More to stain the pine tongue & groove walls in the family room and dining as well as paint the ceilings & trim around our wood beams. Additionally, they were to paint the ceilings and walls in our sunroom. The quote for $1985 was signed November 10th and a deposit of $685 was provided. I completed the form to select the products/colors on November 18th and work scheduled to start on November 23rd. We specified *********** Tinsmith Gray Solid Color Stain for the family room and dining wood walls, ******** Ultra Pure White flat paint for the family & dining room ceilings and ************************ Snowbound flat paint for the sunroom walls & ceiling. Attached in the form I provided photos of the cans for the ****** and **** products to make sure there was no confusion of what was being selected as their preferred paint mfg. is ****************. Without communicating to us they purchased and applied **** Waterproofing Stain & Sealer on the pine walls instead of the ****** product we selected. It was tinted to a *********** Tinsmith color code which is completely different than the ****** **** Tinsmith Gray we requested. We also have concerns of the chemicals used in exterior products for protecting against mildew & fungus that made one of us ill for two days and forcing to leave the home for two nights. They also painted with a roller intended for rough surfaces leaving a wavy, rough texture and hiding the beauty of the wood grain. They also painted the family and dining rooms the wrong color using **************** Extra White paint and not the ******** Ultra Pure White we specified. We have been patient for 2 months for resolution and they finally got a crew out on Jan. 14 but left us in worse shape on the walls + damaged wood beams I warned them not to put painters on but did anyway. The crew walked off the job saying it was to much work for the time given and the general manager said he wouldn't send another crew to fix
