      Ive experienced ongoing issues with my engine and oil consumption, which I repeatedly brought to the attention of the dealership where I purchased my vehicle. My last visit was in September for an oil change, and I informed them again of the persistent engine problems and the need to frequently add oil. Initially, I was told an oil consumption test would be done, but it never was. Instead, they advised that my gasket and axle needed replacing due to a leak, which was done.However, during my September visit, they (****** ***** and Service technician) claimed to have found another puddle of oil around my engine, indicating another leak. When I brought up the recent repairs, I was dismissed and told to clean the engine myself and check for a leak. Despite my concerns being ignored, today I faced the worst possible outcome my car caught on fire.This has been a devastating and deeply frustrating experience. I expected much better service and accountability from Hyundai, but instead, I am left dealing with the aftermath of ongoing negligence. I hope others take this into consideration before purchasing from Hyundai.

      They need to have friendly, respectful staff working at the counter in the morning at the Waldorf location. Rude, no customer service whatsoever! I will never return here again!

      I am filing a lawsuit against the service center especially Chaun who have the audacity to try a check me because I was loud which I was not because if I did yell at him he would be wondering why he came out of his mother womb. On December 1st I was charged $125 for a diagnostic test the purpose of me bringing my car in is because of the shitty ignition not working. So I asked Chaun where was the diagnostic outcome I was told that the customer doesn’t receive that information if I am paying for it I want to see it. As my service tech Chaun was to notify me if and what repairs were needed he did not do his job. Stop hiring kids. He didn't do his damn job and he needs to apologize. This is the worst car dealer and employee kids trying to do adult jobs. I need my car to work I just had brain surgery in April I need my car for drs appointment, physical therapy and to go to work. This is how you treat disabled persons charge $125 don't fix my car and not show me the diagnostic data. I requested shuttle service after dropping my car off waited 20 minutes no one ever asked was I waiting for a shuttle because I needed to get back to work. I used a Uber and I want to be reimbursed the cost. Poor customer service

      This compliant is against the service department. On 10/26/23 I took my 2019 Hyundai Elantra to to get my driver side door handle replace, due to my car being a target of criminals trying to steal it, I dropped my car off there at 9am with the intention of my car being service and the handle fixed. At 4:00pm I received a call from my services rep. Jervon Young stating they do not have the handle for my car and the one they had did not belong to my car and he can have a handle for me in two days. Jervon assured me he would call me when the handle arrived.I took my car back on 11/1/23 this is when everything went downhill, Jervon told me the door lock was damage and the handle would not be able to fit, so I will need to pay for the driver front door base that need to be replace and the driver door lock cylinder, which would be an additional $450.00 (out of which I already paid $468.92 for the handle and the paint). Jervon also stated that I need to leave my car there for 2 days because they did not provide courtesy rides or do they have loaners for times like this. I ask Jervon why he did not tell me this on 10/26/23 because I could have made arrangements to drop my car off, I asked him what did they do to my car on 10/26 when it sit up her for almost 8 hours, did they not do the diagnostic then, because nothing change on my end what changed on their. So ok, I bring my car up to Sheehy on 11/8/23 to have it services finally, Jervon said it will take 2 days to fix my car, I should have it back Saturday 11/11/23; that did not happen, so now here it is Thursday 11/16; I get a call from Jervon stating my car now cost $800 for all the services and repairs. He told me he never quoted me $450 and if I want my car I have to get on a payment plan, My concerns is that they know right now Hyundai cars are targeted cars for these criminals why take advantage of a bad situation to benefits from.

      DO NOT BUY A USED VEHICLE. Since purchase in July 2023, I have had it serviced 3 weeks later due to the engine light coming on. 2 months later the back window started dropping. The regulator had to be replaced with a cost of $413.00. The following week the other back window is now dropping. Last 2 weeks the car will not start randomly and needs to be jumped. I took it to Auto Zone to have it tested for free. They told me the battery was good that it was not getting enough power to starter. Called the serviced department here which I couldn't get through so had to get a call back to schedule. Couldn't get me in till the following week. Daily I would have to jump the car to get to work and possibly home. Dropped my car at 9:45 and never heard a word from them. I started calling at 1:00 to see what is wrong....etc....didn't have an answer. I called at 2:00 still had no clue. Finally at 3:45 they called and said the starter needs replacing at a whopping cost of $875.00. A friend told me they would fix for me so picked it up this morning and they charged me $209.00 for diagnostic to find the problem. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE WHERE THEY ACTUALLY HAVE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

      Customer purchased a used value vehicle from our dealership July 8, 2022 with 76,442 miles. The customer brought the vehicle in for service to diagnose a check engine light on July 19, 2023 with 76,661 miles that was repaired under the customers 1 month 1,000 miles Value Used Car warranty which was at no cost to the customer. The next and final time this vehicle was brought in for service was October 26, 2023 with 78,231 miles for a starting concern. The vehicle was diagnosed and the customer was presented an estimate for repair the same day. The customer declined repair and picked vehicle up the following day. Sheehy honored the customers 1 month 1,000 mile warranty. There is no record of the customer bringing their vehicle to Sheehy for a window regulator issue Thanks for your consideration. We attempt to satisfy every customer to the best of our ability. Our goal is to always sincerely and enthusiastically help customers.

      Why would I bring the vehicle back for window regulator when you charge extreme prices for repair. I declined the starter repair because I got the work done for one third of your cost. You do not try to satisfy anyone and will never purchase there ever again

      My car sat in their service center for 2 months awaiting parts and repairs. I have the Platinum Hyundai Vehicle Service Contract that was purchased at Sheehy Hyundai. I had to email two managers to get some movement on my repairs. Needless to say, when I got my car back, the brake issue I brought it in for was not resolved. I ask if they did any quality control/checks or even test drove the car before turning it over to me. Also, they must had left my driver's side window down the whole time the car sat outside because it was full of leaves and debris from the tree it sat under. I took pictures and documented every issue with the car then sent an email to the Service and Head Manager. The Service Manager responded so I took the car back to them to repair the issue. I was promised the issues I listed in my email would be fixed and they will do a full detail of my car. I dropped the car off on a Thursday morning. Every evening after work, I drove to the dealership and stood next to where my car was parked. The car was detailed that Thursday. The car sat in the same parking space, front wheels slightly turned to the right, rear passenger tire on the white stripe with all 4 doors unlocked for 10 days. I called the following Wednesday to inquire on the status of my car. They said the part just came in and I will have my car back by Friday or the latest the following Monday. So I kept driving by the dealership every day and noticed that my car never moved from that same parking spot... Doors still unlocked. I got a call that my car was ready. I go to pickup my car. I would say that 9 times out of 10, the repaired cars are left in the back/side of the service department. A different service advisor went in that direction to get my car. When he could not find it, he then looked in their overflow lot. Guess what, my car was still in the same parking spot they left it in when I first dropped it off. SO WHEN DID MY CAR GET REPAIRED??? I still have the same spongy brake issue.

      Prior to my recent visit and did this time take an astronomical amount of time for a tire rotation and oil change for parts of it to not even be done correctly. I was told two hours for an oil change and tire rotation, it took four hours and my coolant and wiper fluid were not even topped off when the vehicle was returned to me. Which had one of the service representatives having to put those fluids in as well as not having a sticker to tell me when I need to have my next oil change. I also had concerns about my horn not working and yes it was looked at however, it was not fixed and mind you my car was at the shop for 4 hrs. Now I have to come back in a month and most-likely sit for another 4-6 hrs maybe more to have my horn looked at. I have not been impressed and deeply disappointed with my service every time I have to come in for ROUTINE service i.e. Oil Change and Tire Rotation.

      So far, I’ve experienced the following issues with the service/car: When the car was delivered the filters weren’t replaced, and the oil wasn’t changed. Which is when the mechanic discovered that the battery had a date stamp of 2016 and said that it was not going to last and needed to be replaced. The battery needed to be replaced ($411)—the car hesitates to start due to the battery. Once the battery was replaced, the vehicle was returned, and the tag lights were out. I had to replace them somewhere else the same day I picked up the car from the dealership. The car was not adequately detailed; the vehicle had a mildew odor and a sticky substance under the back seat which was discovered when I had an auto technician remove the back seat. I had to take the car to a detail shop to get all the stains from the interior and remove the back seat to get the food, soda, and smell out of the car—an additional $300 cost out of pocket. • The car outlets didn’t work. Once the fuses were replaced, no one checked them out, and they blew again. I had to return the vehicle to have them replaced. Once the vehicle was returned the mechanic had to replace another fuse for the back cigarette lighter/power outlet to work. According to the paperwork, a second key should have come with the vehicle. I reached out to Khash and confirmed, and an appointment was arranged to get the second key. Once I received the “key,” it was only a fob with no key. I called three times to get this issue resolved. The Tech called me back, and then I return his call and got no answers Finally, the car is due for a transmission flush, and a brake flush. Why wasn’t any of this done prior to the sale of the vehicle?

      The service department is run by a bunch of morons. Their management doesn't care, their employees openly complain to customers, just a disastrous mess. Go elsewhere, stat. You will just get angry at the ineptness.

      This customer was in 8/26/2022 to have a recall performed that parts needed to be ordered for. I do not recall this customer voicing any distain with their service visit. I have called the customer, left a voicemail, and sent a text message after receiving this letter, and have not heard back at the time of this communication.
