Did a mystery shop for a company. The report I was to submit did not work correctly. Reached out several times for help on how to enter the information to get paid. The responses to my questions were incorrect and spotty. After back and forth with delays in responses on their end, I was told the report was too late and I could not be paid for my efforts. Finally was connected with a supervisor who has since not reached out to me even then he was specifically cc on the email asking for assistance with this matter. Fraudulent business with lack of support for contractors. Does not answer specific questions when asked how to submit work o a form that does not accept answers.

      Business response

      01/10/2022

This individual is an independent contractor who agreed to complete a two-part mystery shopping assignment on or before 12/29/2021.  She successfully submitted the first part, then failed to submit the second part prior to the 12/29/2021 due date, nor did she contact us for support prior to the 12/29 due date.  Our system then withdrew the assignment from her on 12/31/2021. This individual did contact our Help Desk for support on 12/31 and was given the opportunity to submit the form on that day only.  It was not until 1/1/2022 that our Help Desk was contacted, and given this was a holiday and a Saturday, we were not able to reply until Monday, January 3, at which time the 12/31 due date had passed.  We take pride in supporting our mystery shoppers with a responsive, timely Help Desk.  It is unfortunate this individual did not submit their form on or before the original 12/29 due date, nor again on the 12/31 due date.  It is a false and libelous statement to say that our company is fraudulent, given we have been in business for 33 years and have always maintained an A+ rating with the BBB.

[A default letter is provided here which indicates your rejection of the business's response.

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of why I am rejecting this response appear below:

[You must provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution. Please type details here:]

Let me start by saying, yes I missed the initial 2nd part due date. However, you are completely mistaken when you claim I did not contact you immediately when I became aware of the error. I contacted ************************* on 12/31 and asked to have to shop assigned back as I had done the work. She agreed and reassigned the report. However, it was your report that did not allow me to enter the actual information as it happened as the dates had been adjusted by the scheduler. That same day, 12/31 I requested help form the scheduler to get the report in on time. When the information provided did not answer the question I had, the shop was again withdrawn on 1/1. Again, I contacted ************************* and asked for help on how to get this report done. No response until 1/5. She reports she will again reassign the report but still doesnt answer my question on how to work around the date changes. Minutes later she replies again and reports that she will not reassign after all bc the shop is now too late. Beyond frustrated, I then contact the general email looking for assistance from someone else. However, I get a nasty response from *************************** again willing me all contact will go through her. From there we agree to speak with her supervisor. It wasnt until today, 1/11/22, that her supervisor ***** called me to resolve this. Frankly after my conversation with ***** today, I thought this was cleared up and all parties were satisfied with the outcome of our conversation. However, now reading this nasty and inaccurate response to my initial complaint, Im confused as to whoever responded sees me as the problem here. The response was incorrect and the story they are telling is not accurate.
      Regards,

      *****************************

In the contractors initial complaint, their request for resolution was to be contacted by our company. Our company followed through and the respondent indicates and admits in her comments she is satisfied with our personal contact and outcome. We consider the matter resolved.
