Please please do not buy Suburban not only me but 15 other people I know had transmission issues within 100k not once but everyone had twice at least and worst thing it takes more than a month to get the part from ** and sometimes its not driveable, so imagine if you using car for business and you are without it for months and loosing thousands of dollars. If you own a Chevrolet (GM) vehicle prepare to be without a vehicle for a minimum of one month if you need a warranty repair on your transmission. Every dealership near me has a month wait just to have the diagnostic done. My Traverse has been sitting at the dealership since 10/18 and still hasnt been diagnosed. I am already out of $800 for a rental car as they also do not provide a courtesy vehicle. The corporate office only offers an apology but I cant drive an apology and it doesnt pay for my car rental. I will definitely not buy any ** vehicles going forward. Buyer beware.Review from Colleen H

I don't even feel that this review deserves 1 star, my car that was picked up on Friday November 8th, and it has still not been diagonosed, they are unsure if it is covered under warranty, they have no loaner car and not one person has given me an update in 24 hours. My 2023 Cadillac accelerated on its own and shot me into an intersection, luckily I was not hurt, once i stopped and pulled off to the side of the road, my car would not go into park, neutral or reverse, the digital odometer read 67 mph when i turned it off. Emergency services picked up my car and they are not calling me back they keep saying as a Cadillac customer we care about our customers. If they cared my car would be getting fixed, I would have a loaner.Review from OTHALEE F

I took my car into ******* Chevrolet in ********, ** by appointment on June 18, ******* car was having trouble starting. They said it was a sensor, $330.00. They put it in, paperwork showed it was ready to pick up. They called back, now it is a modular + parts $********** now 4 months had gone by. We said do it, we needed our car.We went through 3 technicians, passing the car back and forth.We called, texted, and went by weekly to check the progress on the car.We finally picked up the car on November 8, 2024.I think almost 5 months to keep a car that was taken in by appointment is too long.Please think about this before you buy a car from ******* Chevrolet in ********.Review from Jon J

I own a ***** Cruze stick shift diesel, there is a clutch issue that has not been fixed for 8 months. The car still breaks down and no certified ***** dealer so far can fix it. ***** is great a talking to you and offering you a credit - but terrible about fixing the car. They just left me to deal with life without a working car that I cant sell or drive very far. Ive told them what a bind Im in - they apologize but dont fix the problem. They should have an option for zero stars. The customer service department is a joke all they say is they cant but your the best part of ***. My vehicle has been in the shop for a total of 10 months out of two years and they wont provided any assistance and say they cant due to internal policy. They talk over you and only provide what they cant do time after time. I wish someone who cared from *** would reach out because they have wasted my time over and over and have no results to show for it. Worse experience I have ever encountered. These people at cust. Service do not care one bit about the customer. They all need some type of formal training. They read off the same 6 cookie cutter clauses they were given. There is no human aspect when you talk to them. They cant provide any information even though my current case has been open for 4 months. This isnt the first problem. The vehicle wont stay on the road for more than 2 weeks at a time. But Im the inconvenience when I call. Worst interact I have ever experienced. Poor poor poor quality. Wish someone from *** takes the time to read this and maybe takes the time to see the issues. Never been so disappointed in a product and the people that stand behind it. Sad.Review from lindsey v

Purchased a new Acadia in 2023 and has now been in the shop a total of 6 times in the year and a half purchased. Currently at the dealership for the third oil leak since 7/2023. I have been without a vehicle for over a week even though according to their website their warranty offers alternate transportation. Which is false advertisement because they have offered me no alternate transportation and I have asked and voiced to them several times that I for the 6 th time in the year and a half I have owned this brand new vehicle have no way to work.Review from Clint I

I will NEVER buy another ** vehicle and will steer everyone clear of purchasing ** as well! I have owned 9 GM vehicles and come from a family who ONLY purchased **. My C8 Corvette (dream car) has been in shop for back ordered parts for ALMOST ONE YEAR to no avail! ONE COMPLETE YEAR ALMOST!!!!!!! STEER CLEAR OF GM!!! Purchased a NEW ***** Traverse back in 2019- with 12 miles on it. Ive now had the car 5 years, and put a little over 54k miles on it and followed the maintenance schedule to a t. Regular, full synthetic oil changes, brakes, tires, etc. Now at 55k miles I need a whole new engine. My power train warranty JUST expired, less than 3 months ago, and if it wasnt for the time, Id still be covered since warranty is 60kmiles/5yrs. The engine failed leaving my family of 5, with 3 small children stranded 200+ miles away from home. I called ** corporate to see if they could help, since Im barely out of warranty and they submitted an application for a goodwill repair. Long story short, they wasted almost 2 weeks of my life letting me think they were going to help, just to turn around and basically spit in my face. They told me that sometimes this just happens and that my engines failure was the result of NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR. Im sorry, what? How is it normal for an engine with such little mileage to just die like that? For the amount of money I paid for this vehicle, I am BEYOND livid. I will never give another dollar to this company and I will make sure that until the day I die every person that I know, talk to, or meet doesnt give another dollar to this company either. I purchased a brand new 2023 ***** AT4 in September of 2023. By November, it started showing signs of battery draining issues, flashing engine lights upon start up, telling me to service many parts, including the ************ all to find out nothing actually needed to be serviced. After 8 trips back and forth to the dealership and 8 months later, they finally diagnosed the issue. Took 52 days to get the part in, before returning my car just for it to have to be jumped off 48 hours later. Within that 52 days I filed lemon law, was declined 3 times, and finally took matters into my own hands locally with my AMAZING dealership. They were willing to trade my car out to get if off my hands, *** then stopped the trade questioning why it was not filed as a lemon. HELLO IT HAD BEEN! This was all in July 2024. Fast forward to almost November, I am still waiting to get my replacement car after the 1st replacement was SOLD while I had a deposit down on it. The process to get this finalized has been nothing short of horrible. The customer service throughout this process has been dry, rude, and not customer friendly. I hope I never have to deal with them again and will be glad to take my business elsewhere for all future car purchases.
