I canceled my policy with Wolverine 9/28/24 before my renewal in 10/2024. I had already received a bill for my renewal and had paid all of the premiums that were billed to me. Wolverine never sent an extra amount owed, just the amount for my renewal, until I canceled. Now, they are saying a bill was missed in 05/2024 that for one was never on my bill schedule and was never processed on my automatic payments. I waited for the payment to come out and had someone at my agency verify the bill was not showing an amount for that month, which was April not May. Now they are attempting to back bill on their mistake. If this was a truly owed amount, why did they offer a renewal when there would have (under their proper procedure) been a pending cancelation? This is their mistake and I should not be getting billed the $305 and change they are billing me.According to my agent I had a total premium of $2,440. I made 5 payments of $428.16 (17 cents on 4 months). If this was accurate, than the unpaid premium would be under $300 and with the owed premium for me canceling early would be about $170. But, no one at Wolverine will deal with me and my agent will not slow down and take the time to do the math and see how Wolverine is not adding the numbers properly. Not to me thin this being their mistake from months before. Nothing of this situation is ringing with proper business practice. The bill they sent me doesn't even give a breakdown. It simply states to pay this amount or be sent to collections.

I am rejecting this response because: I,want to see a breakdown of what has and has not been paid. I paid my premiums as they were billed, and my premium of $428.17 paid September 2 2024 should have covered these dates. My next bill due was October 01, 2024 for the renewal period with no unpaid premium added. This tells me you are trying to charge me extra premium for non-renewing with you, and that is extremely shady business practice. I never missed a minth I was billed, so how was this unpaid?

      I want verification, please?

      Sincerely,

      ****** ******

I am rejecting this response because: I know I,had pay 6, but I was only given a payment schedule with 5 payments, from April to September with no payment in May. I even had my agency verify that there was no payment in May. This was prior to changing the card on file as I received it with my policy documents. This is a mistake on your end and as I stated, it should have been billed as premium owed before I was given a renewal bill.

      Sincerely,

      ****** ******

****** - Please understand we do not offer a 5 installment pay for a 6 month auto policy. There is a down payment required to get any auto policy in-force. You're welcome to call our number and ask for accounting and they'll better explain it for you.  **************
