I recently got a divorce from an abusive ex. I got a new car and was getting insurance with Melissa due having been with them already. I sent an email and later called making sure they didnt put my new information with my ex because I did not want him to know where I lived. Peyton Leedle combined all my information with my ex so I started getting screen shots of him having my address and new car information. I have been working with them since June 2023 to try and get my information separated from his but to no avail. They refuse to answer my calls or help me in any way. I have emailed, texted and called but no one will help me. They tried cancelling my policy even though I asked them to send it to a new agent in *******. They took 3 months to send me insurance cards and still are saying that it will **** before my information goes to the new agent and I still dont know if my policy is cancelled. They put my safety at risk and think it is a joke that I am upset. I never have been through something like this before so its so frustrating that they are so unwilling to help fix the problems they caused.

      To whom it may concern,

Prior to making a vehicle change *********************** did not notify us of her divorce situation. She allowed the car dealership to call ** and do a vehicle change. After several days ****** emailed our office to make sure the info was not put with her ex-husband household but at this point it was already too late because ****** and her ex-husbands stuff were still combined. We immediately requested under writing to do an address change and split the household. unfortunately, changes don't happen immediately. We have answered all of her calls and have saved text and email correspondence to prove it. unfortunately, we had several conversations because of the time it took under writing to make these changes. Underwriting changes are out of my hands and are handle by the State Farm the company. *********************** holds responsibility for getting us updated and correct information.

      Sincerely

      Melissa Leedle State Farm Agent

      Customer response

      10/06/2023

I emailed ****** and texted her the day. I was buying my car to inform her that I was no longer with *****. I asked to have separate  insurances as you can see in the email. If I had to wait on underwriting to change the addresses, so he could no longer see mine, then why was I able to call my new insurance agent in the same day able to change my login information so he could no longer see it? I think she is trying to cover for her own daughter for her mistake And trying to blame me, the customer, because they didnt read the email. I also have text messages and emails and call logs when I tried to contact them and no one answered my calls. This is no longer about me notifying them about my divorce, even though I did  it is about the way Melissa responded to my review of the state farm business on the website. She included personal information that should not have been put out on the Internet.
