Romeo called me in March to ask about cleaning my garden. He had worked for me in 2021 and must have kept my number. I wasn't sure about hiring them again, but decided to have him come and give me an estimate. We walked around my yard as we had previously, and I noted a couple of trees, a rose, and a large grass that I wanted removed. He said, "not trimmed, but taken out, right?" "Yes, completely out", I verified. Ok, he said. We kept walking and discussed cleaning, taking lawn grass out of the garden, and edging, etc. We agreed on a price.On 4/1, I hadn't heard anything, so I texted Romeo and he said he would come. On 4/27, he and his crew came to the house. I was working at home and when they said they were done. I paid the agreed price in cash. The large ornamental grass that Romeo promised to take out was not gone when I came out to inspect and the crew was gone. I texted him and asked him about it and he said he would come back the following Saturday. He never did. I have since contacted him several times via text and phone and he has promised each time to come back and take the grass out, but he never comes or sends a worker to take it out. I have sent pictures and asked him if he knows which grass it is. He assures me that he does. I tell him I do not have to be home for him to take it out. I have told him, I do not want to give a bad review as I could, or go further, I just want him to take the grass out. We have not argued or had any negative issues that I am aware. I do not understand why he just won't take it out. It's huge now. I do not want any money back. I cannot take this grass out myself. I want him to come and take it out and away as I paid him to do.
