On May 24th 2023, I purchased a tanning package for $120.00. I was only able to tan a few times and now the business has closed all locations with no offer to refund or explain any further. Internet provided little to no information either. I tried calling all locations, but it just says the numbers are out of service now, with no way to contact the owner for an adjustment/refund for unused package. Please help me move forward with this issue.Thanks in advance!Initial Complaint

On July 5th 2023 I visited the ********** ** tanning salon looking to get some color before vacation. I have been a customer of ******************************************* for many years, utilizing their service before summer vacations or before Spring vacations. Back to July 5, 2023. I decided to buy some visits which cost me $35 for 10 visits spanning over a year. I have my receipt as proof or purchase. I went 4 times. That left me 6 more visits. My 4 visits were 7/5, 7/11, 7/14 and 7/18. I left for vacation 7/21, which come to find out happened to be the day they closed. Not once when I paid for this on 7/5 did anyone mention Electric Beach would be closing it's door. I discovered this 8/1 from a sign posted on the front door stating it would be permanently closed affective 7/21/23. I was going to use another one of the 6 visits I had left. I was not contacted about this. I tried calling the ***************** phone, ************, and it's been disconnected. I then searched the internet for another Electric beach near that location. This one was in ******* **. I called that number, ************, and that number is also disconnected. I was there 15 days before 7/21/23 to buy some visits and now their doors are closed with no explanation. This is thievery and fraud. I know times are hard right now for folks financially and that was mentioned on the note on the door of the salon but we are all struggling, not just the owners of the tanning *********** looking for a refund of what was not used. That would be $21. It's not a lot of money but it's the point. I am uploading my receipt and the notes I always make on the back for my own records. I cannot contact anyone about this so I am hoping someone from the BBB can assist. I am very upset about being duped from a company I was a customer of for many years. This company closed without notice on 7/21/23. They simply taped a sign to their door stating they closed without notice and their sorry. They knowing took their customers money for membership renewals and tanning packages that we did not get to use. They closed without notice. They offered no refunds. Ive been a loyal customer for 3 years and I paid them $75 for 5 tanning sessions the week prior and they HAPPILY took my money KNOWING they were about to close and I would not be able to use my sessions. I want a refund and a formal apology. They stole so many peoples money and did it with no remorse. They are scammers and have no respect for their loyal customers. This is a tanning salon located near my home. Went there today to go for a tanning visit and there was a note on the door saying that they permanently closed. All of their contact information including social media is down and doors are locked. Just renewed a tanning package and I would like my money back. Im sure Im not the only one that is upset with the situation as there was no phone call or heads up made that the business was going to permanently closed.Initial Complaint

I bought a tanning package in June and used one tan. I went back on July 23rd and a note on the door states they are permanently closed. There is not a number to call for follow up or any indication that refunds will be given for unused purchases.
