My son ordered a wizard outfit from this company on-line and paid for it upfront with ****** in August of 2023. Website states it could ***********-8 weeks to deliver. In Nov-Dec called asking for info about outfit. Was informed they were having trouble getting the cloth from their supplier. Called several more times Jan-Jun of 2024 and was giving a variety of reasons why not completed - no cloth from supplier, Find cloth some else, making it, still making it, Making hat, ready to ship. In June 2024 received a *** tracking number (1ZCC32810329288134). *** says never got it and Authentic Wardrobe claims they lost it. Authentic W. said they would refund money and send a replacement as we had waited so patiently. In July 2024, they stated on phone that a refund check had been place in the shipping box and a new outfit and the check were being shipped. Also in July they changed message on phone to state they were now screening all calls and to leave a message. I have left several messages without response. I did get a response to a couple of emails stating "Just saw this. Let me call shop." Jul 25, 24. and "they have not gotten back and I should have followed up sooner... I will find out something ASAP!" Jul 30, 24. I have emailed back on Aug 1, 5 and 14 without response. We just want the $510 refunded. thank youBusiness response

On 15/09/2023 I purchased a costume from Authentic Wardrobe worth AU$1,669.56. I have attempted to communicate with them several times to check on progress. They communicated once initially, but then ignored all further messages. This is very similar to other complaints that I have read on-line. At this point I just want a refund and I will take my business elsewhere. AU$1669.56 is a lot of money and when you pay that much, you would expect better service as it is realistic that they advise you how the order is going or give a timeframe for delivery.Business response

Similar experience to most folks with this business: an order made, time passes, communications ignored. Ordered a full Musketeer's outfit in Oct of 2018. As of January of 2022, nothing. I received one communication about a year ago that the outfit was about done, and, to make up for the time wait, I'd receive a free baldric. Follow-up emails (that I send about twice a year) have not been returned. In my mind, I've basically decided I was robbed of over a thousand dollars. The owner's site mentions that quality work takes time, and asks not to be contacted; I respected that, and so have others, but as years drag on, this becomes theft. Internet research reveals many similar complaints about this business, even from former employees.Business response

Should tracking information be conveyed in a timely matter, I would accept this response; what I have wanted since the order was placed is the promised product.
However, I have grave concerns about the received response. I have twice received notice (prompted by messages and/or negative reviews on media platforms) that my order was shipping soon. The latest was over a year ago. While I hope that the order will, in fact, ship soon, until it actually does I have to assume that it will remain unfulfilled.
