      Back on November 30, 2023, I received a quote from Parchment Chimney Service to get repair work done on my chimney. I was told that the work would be done just after the new year. Sot it was supposed to have been quick turnaround. The total job was $4,500 and a $1,500 deposit was required which I paid. I reached out the first part of December 2023 update and was told they were working on finding the brick color. Since then, I have left numerous voicemail messages and sent several emails to Parchment Chimney Services and have not heard back. I contacted them via their contact section of their website *********************************. Since I have been ghosted by the company I would also like an added discount for the work to be performed that they are under contract with me on.

      I called Parchment Chimney in April 2024 and told him my situation with chimney. **** showed up on April 24,2024 to access problem. He said his company could repair the chimney and solve my problem, It would cost ******* with ****** dollars down, I gave him a check, which he has cashed for ****** dollars down and balance to be paid as soon as job was completed. He said it would be a couple of weeks and he could start on job. Couple of weeks came and went and did not hear from him, so I called his office to find out what was going on. I left a couple of messages and finally he returned my calls. He said it would be next week on Wednesday when he could be out to do the job. That was June 12, he never showed up. I called again and left several messages. I finally got ahold of him and he said that he could come out on Tuesday or Wednesday June 25th. or 26th. But he would call me to confirm on Monday, June 24. He didn't call so I called him to confirm. Amazingly, he answered and said he was short staffed and would be out on Friday the 28th of June,Ok, Friday came and went and he never showed, so i called again and have been trying ever since to please call me. No response. He has been in business for years, so I thought he was reliable. I just want my deposit back so I can go somewhere else and get this chimney repaired. *** you please help me get my deposit back? I don't want to go to court with this company/man.

      ********************* , the owner called and said they would be out to do repairs later in the week. I was about to tell him that I no longer wanted his services and just return my deposit. But then I thought, what if he does not return my deposit. So I said ok, hoping that this time he would show and take care of the repair as he had said. He sent his workers and they accomplished the repairs. He was ****** on the spot to pick up the money though. I thought because he had been in business for many years, he would be reliable. I should have checked the reviews on the BBB site, but I didn't. I won't hire or recommend his company.

      Company took a deposit of ****** on Feburary 8th 2024 said he would be back in 2 weeks to complete work. Will not answer calls or been back to preform the work. I have called and left several messages no response.

      I asked Parchment Chimney to come out and provide a quote on a repair I needed on the chimney. They came out and provided a quote. I gave them a check for $475 as a deposit, almost 50% down. They said it would take three weeks for the parts to arrive. The check was cashed almost 10 months ago. I have called a number of times. As well as sent them messages on their website contact page. No response.

      On May 25, 2022, Parchment Chimney Service visited my house and gave me an estimate of work to be done. The quoted job price was $1000, and they required a 50% deposit. I gave them a check for $500, which was later cashed. I have both the estimate and the bank's copy of the cashed check. They said the work might be completed within the week, but would definitely be finished by the end of the summer. They never came back. I called in July and left a message, and I called twice in August. They picked up the phone the second time and said the work would be done the third week in September. The third week in September came and went, and they never showed up. I have called repeatedly and left messages, have never had a reply. At this point I have had to have a different company perform the work. I would like my $500 deposit back.

      **** from Parchment Chimney came to my house 6-1-22 with a printed estimate of $1880 to repair my Chimney. I gave him a deposit in the form of a check for $880. We both signed the form and I retain it as a receipt along with a copy of the check. I asked him when I could expect the work to be done and he told me the first week next month (July 22). I sent him a text the next day to add tuckpointing the Chimney to the quote and never recd a response. I then started calling him later (mid) June, asking for a guesstimate of when the work would be completed. Parchment Chimney has 2 phones with answering machines and I called both. I wanted to know so I could make plans for a vacation. Six (6) calls later over the course of a month, I have zero for a response. Everything I say here I can document.. This has gone from the height of rudeness to (imo) criminal theft. I want my money back and it will be resolved. No money and I will escalate my efforts to recoup it.
