I would like to speak to a district manager regarding my experience at the **************** location today, 12/10/22. I was speaking with manager ************************* regarding a mistake with my order one day prior. I found *****'s communication towards me humiliating, unprofessional, and unfriendly. I spoke to ***** on 12/9/22 regarding the error with my order. He was very kind, helpful, and respectful in his response at the time. He told me that he would replace my order. He told me that my replacement order would be noted in a book and that I had 30 days to come back. This call is stamped in my phone log, and I can provide proof. When I returned to McDonalds today,12/10/22, to pick up my meal, ***** told me that he never spoke to me and that he would not be replacing my meal. I attempted to show him my receipt and proof of my phone conversation with him, but he didn't want to see it. This was a very uncomfortable and embarrassing experience for me as it this was done in front of other customers in the lobby. His tone was very harsh. When I returned home, I called him back to express by disappointment in his actions towards me. I again reminded him of the exact time that I spoke to him yesterday which was 6:00pm. I also asked for his name as i told him that I was going to make a formal complaint. He told me that his name is *************************. There isn't too many African American that go to the ****** McDonalds. I am one who frequents the restaurant as I live in ******. However, after this experience, I will no longer go to McDonalds in ******. Culvers is right across the street, and they treat me very kindly every time I go there. If needed, I can provide proof of my purchase and my phone calls to *****. I feel that I deserve an apology from ***** and he needs customer service training.
