I do not owe this debt, I am not sure where this charge is stemming from. I am filing a complaint on this company pertaining to the information on my credit status is showing charged off but is reporting negatively on my credit report, It has been charged off for several year and reporting me in a bad light.Business response

Members First Credit Union is currently reporting information to the credit bureau regarding a charged off unsecured loan and a charged off negative balance on a checking account. These funds have been charged off by the Credit Union; however, this does not release the member from their obligations under the Membership Agreement or Promissory Note, and these amounts are still owed to the Credit Union. I am writing to complain regarding a recent incident involving an unjust withdrawal fee of $25 applied to my account. It has come to my attention that this charge was incurred due to the account's inactivity.I find this fee highly unreasonable and feel compelled to express my dissatisfaction with the bank's decision to impose such charges without a warning. This experience has left me feeling like my money was taken without any valid reason.I request an immediate investigation into this matter and a detailed explanation of the circumstances leading to the imposition of the withdrawal fee. Furthermore, I insist on a refund of the $25 promptly.
