We have not received our royalty checks, ever after talking with ************, as he promised we would. We did not receive the 2 complimentary books. We did not get a free 2040-minute cable & online television interview on APC TV media.Business response

We at ASA Publishing Corporation do thank you for utilizing our full services to edit and publish your cook book. We are also glad to be able to provide you with an opportunity to participate at our events with a publicist, as well as receiving your book orders. We regret that we had to leave the building because the original building owner failed to comply with the city in as much as refusing to supply heat into the building for our company which let our founder and publisher, ************, in an awkward position to try his best to accommodate everyone as much as possible. During this time, we did not realize that you still didn't receive your two free complimentary books. ************ did authorize a free bulk of five books which will arrive to you on July 19th, 2024, along with your check. We informed ************ that the checks were being cut, but we also understand that at least almost everyone understood the gravity of a corporation who tried to keep the doors open with constant flooding and no heat while suffering a tremendous loss. I am sure ************ shared these things. As far as the free television interview, the ** studio was still being reconstructed at ***************************************** on the third floor. There was nothing our publishing house could do as far as having City ****** MPACT help speed up the process. As of today, the studio is ready, and ************ has reopened the doors of television media. If you would like to see, the website location is www.apntvmedia.com to view for yourself, which is open to all authors and publishers. Although your agreement with the Basic Publishing Package has expired, we can still give you the opportunity to have a free televised interview, provided you're still interested. Please understand that these misfortunes were out of our control, and the attachments are proof of these unfortunate circumstances. We have been regrouping since then and looking for another building.Customer response

i have not received a royalty check. in regards to our agreement being expired ************ verbally promised to give a year extension because of all the time that passed with all his issues with his building and buisness. i did receive my 5 books thank you.

Dear ***,
We did reach out to you, but we are very glad that you contacted us through here verifying that instead of just getting 1 complimentary book that the Basic Publishing package only requires, instead you received 5 complimentary books authorized by ************. Again, just to be clear, you are aware that your one year contractual agreement expired in March 2024, and it is now August 2024 going into September. That being said, I want you to notice that our publisher and founder kept his word, and again, authorizing your book to remain available to the public and booksellers in our Option 2 global distribution extension since your expiration date came and passed. It has not been retired, removed, or placed out of print. Instead, you can continue to order your books again as much as you like, and your readers can continue to make purchases on a 24/7 basis. You probably didn't realize that he has been helping you even in trying times. He has kept everything active for the ***** family, even if you are in just the Basic Publishing package.
Now, concerning receiving a check, if you haven't received it by now, it is only because it probably rolled over into our second quarter royalties which you had a new book sale in May 2024 after the previous expiration date. Please read in your contractual agreement in Section 15 vii, 2, Royalty Quarterly Timeframe, you will see that new royalties come out in August 2024. Everything is fine, we understand that sometimes when we assume things might become out of control, things might look or seem irrational, and yet everything is still running smoothly, even in difficult times.
You will also be happy to know that ************ will be going into a negotiating business meeting on a new building this week: this includes a cafe, bookstore and gift shop on the first floor, an event center where you can have book events on the second floor, and on the third floor a television studio.

I have not received any royalty check and it is August 2024. We were told we would receive a check each quarter nothing about role overs. While we were happy with the way the book turned out we have not received our due per contract.

Dear ***,
We completely understand that there is no middle ground at the moment. It is obvious that you cannot simply contact (email) our administration personally, nor allow anything to be executed properly since regrouping from the building tragedy that you are fully aware of, which never really affected anyone in the Basic Publishing package. There is a difference between saying someone's word has value verses placing certain limits as you have demonstrated no matter how our founder is trying to get everything free or extra into your hands, whether utilizing or mis-utilizing his words. I know that your check is in our data listing, but I will send a money order to you directly and you should receive it this coming Tuesday at the latest. Our bank is out of state; therefore, I will notify the bank that a photocopy of the money order will go against the check, and we should be cleared with you.
Even afterwards, our founder is still welcoming you with compassion and open arms to a "free" television interview once everything is restored into our new building. We do not wish any ill-will towards you, and we'll do our best to serve you throughout this "free" extension term. You still have access to our website to order books at your leisure.

I still have not received any check or money order. As for simply contacting you, I have spoken with *********** numerous times and was told I would receive money by such a such date, and to this date I still have not been paid my royaltys. Today is Tuesday and no check or money order as promised in your response. I know there have been issues which is why I have been so patient till now.

Greetings and good evening/morning, **************.
Attached are the royalties that have been sent out to you today, and you still have a free yearly extension that is truly based only on my word that has been kept. I'm not concerned about the expired Basic Publishing Package, I'm more concerned about all of us moving forward together and regrouping with positive measurements from this day forward. I hope that we can reconcile our opinions of miscommunication and our differences. We all know that since the building, it made this year tough on everyone, and now together, we're entering into a brand new day. Let's make use of going into this season and into the future a more fruitful and productive one.
