Beware if you plan to purchase a used vehicle at GERWECK NISSAN 1540 Dixie Highway in Monroe MI. Do not sign the purchas papers like I did if the check engine light is on or if you are buying it as is. I took my vehicle to Autozone on 9-15-23 two weeks after purchasing for them to do a check on the computer diagnostic for the check engine light. It showed replacment engine block, multipule misfires, cylinder DNE misfire, and secnd DTC's. The car is now in the shop to rebuild the engine. The total cost for this work is $2,800. I talked to both owneers and they will not do anything to remidy this issue.Business response

We purchased a 2014 Ford Focus Hatchback Car from Gerweck on 8-01-2022 we took out the Warranty on the car we paid 1,330.00 we paid $7,500.00 ffor the car.We started having trouble with the Transmission about Four Days later. We took the car back to Gerweck well the Mechanic's father died so thre was no one to check the car, they hired another Mechanic he could not find the problem my husband asked if they would take the car back and put our money towards another car * * the owner said No. He told me to rake the car to ******** **** in Monroe which I did they called and said it was the Transmission Module which they had to order , the car has been sitting at their Dealership for 3 months no part Gerweck had the car for 2 weeks. We are paying Insurance on the car which I have only driven for weeks since we Purchased the car. I feel * * know there was a problem with the car when he sold the vechicle to me. I am tired of Dishonest People. Respectfully, ***** * ********Business response

The part situation is beyond our control. It is a warranty issue. The are having major parts issue getting delivered.

***** ********the dealership knew there was a problem with the car when he sold the vehicle to us when we test drove the car we took it back to him because the trans was slipping and he told us that was normal. That is not how you run a Business. I am out $7500.00 plus $1300.00 for the warranty. I don't need this stress as I have been having a series of tests done for cancer. I need a dependable car. I don't understand how a Dishonest person can sleep at night.
