*Warning* Do NOT use Elkour Lawn Service! Zak Elkour will ask you to pre pay for the season, in exchange for a discount and then basically NEVER show up.. After a breach of contract, *** agreed to refund approximately 2/3 of my money, but has disappeared over the last 4/5 months.Its nothing but a scam based off of stories, excuses and lies.. I have all of the documentation and support to back up my claim.. Im NOT just disgruntled customer thats spewing, ***** he will probably try to portray.. Do NOT engage with this company unless you want to lose your $. DO THE RIGHT THING ZAK AND STOP TAKING ADVANTAGE OF CUSTOMERS.Review from Charles B

**** is very difficult to deal with and work with. He has taken thousands of dollars for prepaid work and continues to stall and make excuses. He continually mentions that he often gets taken to court by his clients, but that he always wins. Still owes us for prepaid services but states that we will get nothing back from him. Stay away as there are very few people who are this bad.Review from John M

Elkour did 2 jobs well then stiffed me $1,200 on the next 2 jobs. Had my cash for 15 months and still say they have not forgotten. NEVER PREPAY TO HAVE A JOB DONE.Review from Elizabeth D

Elkour Lawn Service (Zak Elkour) does not follow through what they promise. Do not hire this company. They do not fulfill their contract. I prepaid $600 for snow removal on my property by plow and hand-shoveling. They were very late in plowing (3 days after a snow), wrecked the lawn with their plow, and never did any hand-shoveling. We seniors are unable to fix the lawn ourselves. I have called numerous times and all I get are excuses and how busy they are. I have to hire another company to fix their mistakes. Zak Elkour is a fast-talker with no conscience. Do not expect to get an apology or any action.Review from Samantha C

The owner of Elkour Lawn Services is a scammer and a *****. Like many of the other reviews we pre-paid for services (regular lawn mowing and some patio work) and Elkour lawn services failed to fully provide the services in our contract. The owner asked if he could delay mowing our lawn for a few weeks (ended up being a month)in the spring. We did agree but thought it was odd. The owner ended up mowing our lawn 4 times the entire summer and never touched our patio. Each time he mowed it was because we reached out to him about how it wasnt done. He acted surprised and blamed his crew which he said he had to fire. He gave us a lot of excuses all summer. We kept giving him the benefit of the doubt because we understand things happen. Well after him continuing to not show up when he said he would we requested to get the money for the services not rendered he told us he has 11 people suing him and to get in line. Basically we wont be getting our money back and he isnt planning on providing the services we paid for. What a headache. PSA dont waste your money or your time hiring this company for any lawn services.Review from Duane C

Hired Elkour for landscaping, tree trimming and lawn mowing. Paid $4200.00 advance in cash and $900 of work was completed and only after several calls past the agreed upon start date.Then I never saw them again. *** refuses to give a refund for work not performed. He is a scam artist with no conscious. Avoid this man and his company completely. You have been warned.Review from Nancy H.

We hired Zak Elkour to remove 50 year old railroad ties along our driveway and replace it with a boulder wall. Paid him a down payment of $2,000.00 on July 12, 2021 - haven't seen him since.Several conversations yielded promises to get it done but to no avail. We live by a school and are the first house you see as you enter the subdivision. We'd like to put our house up for sale, but this job has to be done first.Review from Persia K.

The owner, Zak, hired my special needs son to do some work for him. My son worked 12 hours in 90 degree weather. Not only has Zak not paid my son a week later but he also belittled my son and degraded him as he gave him the run around on the money owed.. It is definitely a sad world we live in when someone from the community treats people this way.. I contacted him today and he assured ME he would drop his money off... He never did.
