On the date of 06/06/2023 I purchased a 2019 Chevrolet 4door sedan LS Impala with an odometer reading ****** actual mileage. I also traded in a **** **** F350 Super Duty Diesel Powerstroke. My purchase price was ********* along with subtracting my ***** trade in as well as an 500. dollar down payment leaving me with an finance balance of ********* . My complaint is that I was informed at time of purchase that I had an warranty that reflects 2yrs. Now within an 48 hour time frame of driving the new vehicle home to my residence the vehicle would not start the 2nd day of sitting in my driveway. Contacted the dealership in which I spoke with an ********************* ************* *********************************** (dealership manager) explained to them that the vehicle was not starting. They proceeded to suggest that it may be just the battery so I contacted a battery dealer in which come to find out that the battery that was in the vehicle was an incorrect battery for that particular vehicle & that the vehicle requires a specific battery. I purchased the correct battery for the vehicle as well as had it installed but yet the vehicle still would not start. The dealership came to pick the vehicle up by via tow truck service informing me that they had to send it to the service center to see what the issue is. A few days later i received communication that I can come pick up my vehicle in which I did. In response I was told that the vehicle had to be reflashed & everything should be fine. Once again drove the vehicle home & 2 days later the vehicle would not start again. Contacted the dealership once again to be informed that they would pick the vehicle up again via tow truck. This time the vehicle was kept for a week & returned for me to pick it up once again being explained that the vehicle was fine saying again it was something with the flashing of the vehicle but should be fine. I took posession of the vehicle to return home once again only to awake 2 days later to the same result of the vehicle not starting. Contacted the dealership again and after awaiting for 2 more days for them to pick the vehicle up once again via tow truck service. This time the vehicle was in the dealership posession for almost a month and a half in which I was informed that the vehicle was ready for pickup & the issue was the starter. I took posession of the vehicle in which the vehicle was fine driving with no issues for the past 3 months . Now as of December the 10,2023 the vehicle would not start once again in which I was at an restaurant location picking up some food leaving me to have to call in on my warranty roadside assistance service to request for tow truck service. The vehicle was transported to the dealership in the middle of the night to be placed on the dealerships parking lot for the dealership to deal with the vehicle come the next day of December 11, 2023. As of today I was told that the vehicle has to go to the service center for further diagnosis but Ive been told this many times over already from days earlier of purchasing this vehicle. Whatever the issue is it seems to be clear that the dealership is not truly trying to correct this problem because they never provide me with any type of service receipts / documentation of any sort just verbal confirmation that the issue is fixed. This is an ongoing issue that seems to be consistently repeating itself which is causing an lot of difficulties for myself and day to day functioning. Also now the business had changed from Carite to now ********** Pre Owned but has the same employees / staff .
