*** ********* dates are inaccurate, here are the facts.  The contract was signed June 18, 2024.  The job was measure June 24, 2024.  The plans were drawn on july 13, 2024.  The plans were submitted to the City of ******** for a permit on July 18, 2024.  During that time, the homeowner was calling telling us to get the job going.  we explained that until we had a Building permit from the City, we could not do any work as they would not give us an inspection and doing any work prior to the Building permit would result in a fine.  The permit was approved and picked up on August 7, 2024.  The homeowner agreed to meet with us to go over the Blueprints on August 19, 2024.  he wanted to see if we would get a purple enclosure so we were in contact with the ***************** to see if that was a possibility.  They were able to accommodate that for a price that *** ******* did not agree to.  We told *** ******* that we were running about a month and a half for concrete work depending on the weather.  he would occasionally call the office and the salesperson every week.  We had to get MISS DIG to his project and tear down his existing room which happened around the week of October 10th.  October 14th, we removed his existing Concrete and got the inspection from the City to proceed.  All of the concrete work was completed by October 18 or 19th.  We explained that we had to meet the ***************** on site to go over the details which we did around October 21st (approximate date).  *** ******* was there when we met with the *** from the enclosure Company. We reminded him that they were taking all of the measurements and then ordering the necessary material to build his enclosure off site and once it was completed, it would be a 1 to 2 day install once the Enclosure had all of the parts and was painted at the factory and that could take anywhere from 8 to 10 weeks.  *** ******* then called and wanted to know if an 8 foot doorwall was possible so we contacted the enclosure company and got the price for that was well as to increase the size of the enclosure.  There was $15,000 due when the concrete was finished as well as the additional money for the larger doorwall and enclosure.  *** ******* called us and asked what the hold up was.  We asked for the money and he told us he gave enough 9even though the terms were outlined in his contract with us) and said he was not going to pay any more money until the job was completed.  We reminded him of the terms of the Contract and that is around the time he filed this complaint.  I (Mat ******) met with *** and Mrs. ******* on November 7th to try to resolve the issue.  *** ******* said that he could invest the money in Bitcoin instead of paying us.  I told him that if he chose to do that we could cancel the rest of the project as we needed the funds to order the Enclosure.  After around 20 minutes or so, *** ******* decided to record the conversation via his wife using their Ipad.  He did sign the change order that day and did pay us the money that was due.  I can send the paperwork to the BBB if needed.  In that paperwork, we had said we would place the order ASAP and that now it could take 12 weeks or greater due to Deer Hunting and the Holidays as well as weather.  *** ******* said that he spoke to the Enclosure people and he said someone over there told him 6 weeks.  He did not know who at the establishment told him that and we said we were told otherwise and that is why we needed this in writing.  We also explained that the Electrician would come in after the enclosure was installed at his home because we needed the structure in place before they could do their job.  We did place the Enclosure order on November 8, 2024 and asked to see if there was anyway that the Enclosure could be built any quicker than the timeline given and the Contact said they would note the file and see what they could do but NO PROMISES were their exact words.

[A default letter is provided here which indicates your rejection of the business's response.

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of why I am rejecting this response appear below:

[You must provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution. Please type details here:]
To start with, **** ****** lied about I told the company to get the job going without the permit approval. I call to ask them did you get the permit yet. When I signed the contract on June ******* I asked ****** *****, the salesman when I aspect the job to be finish, he told me October by the latest. From August 7 to October 10, it took to start the work that was too long of time when the salesman told me from the beginning the be done by October. At this time my $27,000 money was tied up. They finally finished the concrete on October 18.  On November 7, I paid Father and Son another $18,029 for the enclosure structure. **** ****** told me it will take 10 to 12 weeks for the order. On November 11, I went to ***************************** in ******. They told me the order of the materials is from 6 to 8 weeks. On November 14,I had a contractor came out to my house to look at the job site father and son job. I asked him how long would it take him to do the whole job after he got the permit. He told me 3 months tops. He looked at my contract with father and son and said the plan review was too much money to pay while waiting all that time. The problem I have with Father and Son is that the customer put too much money down being tied up while you waiting too long to get any work done. I feel like the money is being used on other jobs. Father and Son need to do better with the time it takes to get the job finish.
      Regards,

      ***** *******
