I purchased two Coil Pack's, Controller's and MAP Sensor's from ***** at Electro Air at a cost of $2340.00, to install on a new Franklin ******** engine. ***** helped me try to get the engine running, until he retired. **** then offered his assistance and advice on trying to get the engine running. I rewired the ******** to eliminate any wiring problems on the ********. **** has been good about exchanging coil packs and controllers to try and get the engine to running right. Ive been able to get the engine to run on the left or right side and occasionally on both systems, then one side or the other would quit working for no known reason. I offered to pay Mikes or someone's expenses to come help get the units working. This fall (2021) I gave up and called **** asking about a refund on the units. He implied that he would, but wanted to see the units first. When removing the controllers I found where the power wires had broken at a solder joint in the connector. This was surely was the reason for the intermittent running of the engine. I mailed the units back 2nd October. Hearing nothing from **** I called several times. **** said he hadnt had time to look at the units yet. Since then Ive left two messages for ****. The last message, I ask **** that if he wasnt going to provide a refund, to return units that I sent back to him, which was the 15th of December. I still think the ******************* systems that Elector Air has are good systems. I really wanted the ******************* to work and thought that I could figure it out. Why I couldnt get them to work correctly, I dont know. I have 20 years experience working on military Helicopters as a mechanic and Aircraft Maintenance Officer. Working on ******** systems isnt something Im just learning.
