Jostens uses very shady practices to make it quite challenging to purchase the (very overpriced / shoddy quality) items required for graduation. You are forced to navigate through pages of confusing efforts to upsell you on stuff you dont need before you can view the item you are trying to purchase, then you are presented with with several more upsells before you can put the item in your cart and check ****** SCHOOL SHOULD FORCE EVERY GRADUATING FAMILY TO DO BUSINESS WITH A COMPANY WITH SUCH SHADY SALES PRACTICES.The items we are required to purchase for graduation cost 100% more than similar items from a more reputable company.Even the shipping and handling fee of $6 is kind of a scam. They dont ship a package directly to your house, they ship everything to the school and let them sort it out. Thats $530 to ship a few large boxes via ground shipping.Review from Chris B

So far, so bad. I have never worked with a ***** at a business before where they corner you into these graduation packages and then get scammed. Upon check out, I only needed very few graduation announcements and got the ones with the package. It said for a limited time, add photo insert for the graduation party for a 1/3rd of the price, which is what I wanted to send to most anyway. Excitedly I added to my cart and checked out. 24 hours later I noticed that they added more announcement for more $. When I brought it to the ***** attention they said "that's what you ordered so that's what you're getting." I told them that is NOT what I ordered and I want to get the photo cards instead. She replied that she can't change the order and it's too late and out for print. Really? I ordered in Oct and graduation is in May and they're out to print? Icing on the cake, I am a single mom and this is a huge expense for me. I tried to tell her it's only been 24 hours but she wouldn't hear of it. Someone tell me how this business has 1 out of 5 star average reviews with a BBB rating of A+?Review from Jennifer A

Our school district opted to use Jostens for school pictures and yearbooks. The prices are inflated for the poor quality. We had 2 very close up poses to choose from with only a slight difference in our student's smile. Ordered one pose that had to be cropped in closer yet for an 8x10 - the order cost over $35 after all the fees - why do they need to collect more fees on top of the excessive cost??? I would caution against using this company and have voiced my concerns to our school district as well.Review from H. W

DId not send me an item (specialized tassle) I ordered for graduation. Instead of refunding, they send another after the event--which was pointless. Their reasoning for sending another and not refunding was that I would not have been able to wear it during graduation anyway? ... Why else would I buy it? Also, very over-priced.Review from Andrew J

Look elsewhere. Seriously, dont waste your time. I ordered a solid gold Bachelor of Science graduation ring with a diamond to be updated for my Master of Arts degree, but instead of replacing "B.S." with "M.A.," they inscribed the number 24. Oddly enough, 2024 is already on the other side, so the mistake is baffling, even though they admitted it was an error. After returning the ring, I received the exact same thing three months later, with no changes made. When I called to confirm they had the correct instructions again, they assured me they did. This company lacks quality assurance and clearly doesnt know what theyre doing. Theyre not a reputable jewelry provider.Review from Tania G

Jonsten's sent me an email offering a yearbook for my child's school. The school let us know that Jonsten's wasn't doing the school yearbook this year. I had already ordered. They gave me a refund less a $2.99 service fee. I had ordered off the email they sent me for an item that doesn't exist.
