Customer Service is bad. They say one thing, do another. They did some work at my home on my basement walls. Some of the wall did not hold up. They came over and said that it was there fault. I just want it fixed. All I get is a run around.DBS Residential Solutions Response

One of the worst companies EVER!!! The sales person said one thing, and come to find out the hard way, the contract said something different. They were a no call no show on the day they were scheduled. I called several times to get a resolution about the difference between the sales person and the contract and no response. They also scheduled the job without letting me know. I canceled the project because of the aforementioned issues and they kept over 10%. Contrary to what I was told they would keep. The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!DBS Residential Solutions Response

I'm very sorry about the frustrations you encountered with your project. I spoke with my team for some background and learned that we had you on the schedule in December 2023, but you were not able to move items from your basement in time for that project date and so it was postponed. It looks like we contacted you earlier this year to reschedule and sent a crew out this summer. When they arrived they were unable to do work because items had not been removed from the work areas in the basement. From what I can see on your account, we did successfully cancel the project for you. We do retain 10% to cover our costs in time and materials. Disingenuous is the other word to describe DBS - cancellation form was signed and sent on May 22. If the project was initiated in January, and 9 months later it is not completed, one has to wonder did DBS conclude the payment was a donation?DBS Residential Solutions Response

DBS said they would fix my garage floor so that the snow off of our cars would not puddle. Now we have four puddles. They came out with the wrong equipment and wouldn't let us know when they would come back to finish. We had to take off work to wait for them. There is still a problem. The project manager came out as we wouldn't pay the second half of the payment. He said they have to raise the floor 5 inches. He said he would talk to his team and call back with a solution. Four weeks later, there still has been no response. Their way to solve a problem is to ignore it. I would never recommend DBS to anyone. Terrible response time, poor communications, and will not work on a solution to the issue they caused. My floor is supposed to be guaranteed. It now has cracks and water pools in four areas.DBS Residential Solutions Response

Management staff is highly professional, knowledgeable and responsive. We appreciated their willingness to accommodate our concerns about the project we were undertaking and adjust our contract accordingly. Skilled, hard-working crews stayed until the job was done. End results look great to us. We expect potential buyers who look at our cabin's basement will feel confident it is protected from water incursion and free of structural concerns. When living in a rural area, it's comforting to know that such competent help is within reach. Service rescheduled four times with no communication. When I tried to communicate with them I simply got voicemails that didn’t get returned. Three equipment failures. If not for the salesman I would have never reached anyone there.DBS Residential Solutions Response

I checked your account and see that the project was completed satisfactorily for you as noted on the review you sent to our website. We strive to wow our customers and I'm sorry that we were not able to do that for you with the scheduling and equipment delays. We do have a new plan going into effect on Monday with new team members in place to get us back on track in that department. I'm just sorry we didn't have it in place for you.

I got a quote from DBS to do some concrete repair at my house. I was in the process of getting other quotes but they said if I put a deposit down I would be able to get a discount if I ended up selecting them. If I got a lower bid they would try to price match and if they couldn’t I would get deposit refunded. I ended up finding a better quote that they didn’t match but they would not refund my 50% deposit and stopped responding to my calls. They have been "working" on our basement project since March (that's when a third of our deposit was taken)... Officially started demolition in October. It's now on week 5 of work. They said they would be done and working together - flooring could go down as the electricians where here, etc. No one as even mentioned to us any of the items we need for the bathroom that's being installed in the remodel - like the vanity, our lights, the toilet. This is the worst company I've ever seen work with. They contact everyone out. They lie about timelines constantly. They have no idea how to communicate or even tell the truth. They don't actually understand how to finish a project. And they overall just paid too much to do a terrible job. They originally told us this project would take 7-10 days max. And here we are on week 5 with no end in sight .. How disappointing. I would never recommend this company to anyoneDBS Residential Solutions Response

This company is absolutely a joke. Been working with them for 10 months trying to get a "dry basement solution " as they call it in there company name. Had people at my house 4 times and still have water coming up thru the floor. First guys out of ************ was the most sloppy and unprofessional group of guys I've saw. They ended up coming out twice once to do the job and again to fix there sloppy mess . Still no fix, water was coming up thru the concrete. Sent another KID out to seal the floors and he just smeared the sealer over dirt and debris after I told them they needed to clean up after the first crew of guys. It didn't work either still had water coming thru the floor. After multiple phone calls and complaints and being told it just needed time to dry I finally after a month got another crew from the ****** location out to look it over and they determined it was all done wrong and pulled it out and started over adding more cross drains. Well after about a month and still wet spots in the floor they asked how it was looking and we got no reply after telling them it still was wet. So I called back again telling them I want a refund and was told, they will check into it and get back to me the next Monday. We'll that was 3 weeks ago and still no answer. I took matters into my own hands and cleaned the floors 4 times then acid etched the whole floor washed it again 2 times then sealed it twice and epoxy coated it with basement epoxy. In total costing me ****** plus not counting my time ! This Is an absolutely pathetic company and I wouldn't recommend them to water proof a dog house let alone someones home. ******, our *******, was really remarkable. We were installing piers under our foundation and had a challenge during install (be ause of our very old house) that required modifying our plan. He went above and beyond to keep us on schedule and within our budget, was a fantastic communicator, and worked exceptionally hard to overcome the timing and material setbacks due to an unforseen comdition. Our plan change could have been a really stressful situation and we came out of it feeling confident and comfortable because of ****** and ******!! They were so kind and conscientious.
