I bought a car and had it for 2 days. They told me it just needed an O2 sensor which was a $40 fix, my mechanic said it needs $6,000 the car wont even go above 20mph its not mechanically safe:Business response

Ciera purchased the vehicle as-is and she signed to that fact several times. She was offered a complete inspection for $159 prior to purchase and she declined that as well. The vehicle had a check engine light on and ran poorly when purchased. Repairs were to be expected and no inspection was ever completed on our part to be able to suggest the extent of repairs required. In addition, the vehicle was sold for approximately half price compared to market value because it had unknown issues.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:
The business is not allowed to sell cars that are mechanically unsafe without telling the purchaser. If the car dealership didnt check that it was safe enough to drive then that is also their fault. They should not be selling cars that they dont even know will drive. It was their responsibility to make sure the car was mechanically safe before selling and they failed to do so.
