Our toilet was leaking at the base in one corner when flushed. I called Sun Ray Plumbing for a service call. Two weeks later, we rec'd a call from ***** and was told he could have someone there by the end of the day or the next day, but he'd call to let us know. The next day, someone showed up with no notice to fix the toilet. On 6/1/22, SR ********************** (*****) repaired the leak at the base and also told us he solved the slow draining issue he said it had. I told him the toilet was flushing and draining fine prior to his visit and that the only repair needed was the leak at the base when flushed. Hours later, the toilet was fixed according to the plumber. He said there was a clog, but he got it and it's been flushed out and it was all good. We paid by check, $855. We were told not to use the toilet for 24 hours. We waited 48 hours. Upon the first use, it didn't flush. Water filled, but didn't go down. Slowly, it drained. We tried it a second time, same result. Water was also now leaking at the bolts of the toilet and the base as the grout in the tile around the toilet was wet. I left an email and a voice mail with SR **********************. On 6/6/22, Sun Ray came to fix the toilet, that was supposed to have been fixed last week. The plumber (*****) did not fix it. He told us there is a flat spot in the pipe and it's caused by the house settling on the pipe. This is an issue that was not mentioned last week, despite the fact that the area of the 'flattened pipe' is an area in which he viewed and observed at least a half a dozen times last week while working. He told us we would need to call the owner of the company and talk with him to see 'how far you want to go with this'. What that means, he did not say. He left us with a non-working toilet and has our money and the problem is not resolved. We rec'd no call from the owner and no concrete explanation from ***** as to when he will fix our toilet, that he said was fixed on 6/1/22.
