On Thursday April 18 2024 I went washed and blow dried my hair then called Bintous hairbraiding to ask if I could come in for a style. I've been growing my hair out for 2 years and a lot of handling causes a lot of damage. I was told yes. I explained what kind of style I wanted which is a simple braid style with a part on the side then braids going towards the back. I asked the price and was told by the owner who was doing my hair "I don't know I'll see". I normally pay $140 happily if my hair is done correctly. She was very rough handling my hair pulling and tugging. Very painful. I had to tell her several times to not pull so hard. When she was done. I asked her how much? She then said $140 which i paid. I didnt bother to look at my hair since the style so so simple. I'd just got up and left because of the painful process and having to was detailed and blow-dry before going to the shop was tiring. She did a really rushed job. When I got home I saw that she did a horrible job. Very unprofessional. No regards for the style I asked for. Not even close. So I go back. I live about 7 minutes away she was gone. I called her from the shop and I explained that I didn't like the style. She had a non chalante attitude. By this time I was so tired and frustrated that I just went home. I called again when I got home to see what she would do. I was told to come back Friday 4/19 at 2:30. I was so upset and in pain from braids being tight I slept all day. I called her 7a.m Saturday morning to see if she would come in to resolve the issue and she said she wouldn't come in until Monday morning. I start a new job Monday all day. 10 to 12 hour days. She said "I don't know what to tell you" and hung the phone up. Please help. I'd been there 4 times because it's convenient and I have a very busy schedule. I've only had 1 good experience out of all these. The stylist are from ****** and talk about and mock their clients.
