Yard King LLC Response

************* reached out to us for lawn care because the home he recently purchased was in desperate need of attention from previous owners neglect, contrary to what ************* states about having a lawn the neighbors are jealous of. We showed up and the yard was overgrown and required numerous passes with the mower at different deck height increments to achieve the desired result. ************* even told us how great of a job we did when we were leaving. ************* scheduled mowing day was Wednesday. The following week was the week of the 4th of July with the 4th being on a Thursday. We saw a forecast of rain along with the holiday. It rained that Tuesday resulting in us being delayed a day. We proceeded with our Tuesday customers that Wednesday and received numerous emails from ************* in a short time span with one stating someone needs to come today our regularly scheduled day especially since we are a new customer who bought the home with a slightly out of control lawn. I replied and let him know we would be there Friday depending on the weather and we would update him if that changed and I proceeded to go to work. When I checked my emails later that day he followed up with numerous emails and another email stating Im thinking I will need to hire another service with same day service to come out today or tonight. He then followed up with yet another email stating he would mow his own lawn. The following week was only our second time at his property and I was away at a convention. I sent my crew to mow his yard. On this day the water run off area in the backyard was still wet despite not having rain/water in almost two days per ************* account. During our visit our mower matted down the wet grass with the tires as shown in the pictures ************* posted. ************* then confronted my team aggressively by yelling and demanding them to repair the yard now. I was informed by my crew that they tried to look and fix any displaced earth but it was only matted grass and wasnt anything they could do at that time. This was not good enough for ************* and as he began shouting at my team aggressively again they kindly told him theres nothing they can do and to have a nice day. ************* then called and left a lengthy voicemail with threats and sent numerous emails again without allowing any time for a response. I apologized to ************* and told him we would take care of it and fix any damage. He demanded I come look at it immediately. I told him I was away and could not come immediately but I had spoken with my crew and reviewed the photos ************* took along with the photos my crew took. Upon a closer inspection of the pictures I could see the matted grass and that there was no displaced earth. I told ************* this and said although it may not be visually appealing in this case the grass will stand back up and theres no actual damage to the lawn and if there is any damage we would fix it. It was at that time I notified ************* that we would be dropping him as a mowing customer because of the way he threatened and instilled fear into my crew and that is unacceptable behavior from anyone. That is when ************** made these slandering comments to defame our character and integrity. I personally went to ************* property this afternoon to inspect and fix any damage and there is no damage whatsoever. The matted grass popped back up as we told ************* it would. In fact you can see the matted down grass from ************** push mower in the photos which is more prevalent that our tire marks from the large mower just five days prior. In the photos you can also see theres zero indication of any repairs as there is no dirt, seed, or even rake marks. When arriving today to inspect reported damage as requested, I notified ************** I have inspected the lawn and there was no damage and he threatened to have me trespassed. ************* has been demanding, rude, and uses threats when hes upset instead of talking and using rational reasoning. That is what this whole situation has become.
